There are all kinds of activities and events popping up at The Dale this spring – I hope you will join us for activities designed with you in mind.

And there is no better time of year than spring. If the idea of the warmer weather makes you smile because it’s easi- er to motivate yourself – please call or stop down. I hope you will read this pub- lication and find something that fits in with what you like to do.

April is “National Volunteer Month”, which we will be celebrating on April 20th. The staff is planning the day to honor you, our dedicated volunteers. For those of you who are in our building regularly, you see the great work our volunteers do every day. There is also a tremendous amount of volunteering work that goes on “behind the scenes” – assisting homebound individuals through reas- suring telephone calls, providing transportation, and sup- porting back office functions you may or may not know about. I hope you will RSVP and join us – and let us honor YOU. More information about our Volunteer Opportunities is on page 12.
