  • ADESA Partners with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to Pilot Next Evolution of Simulcast Sale
PRESS RELEASE FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ADESA Partners with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to Pilot Next Evolution of Simulcast Sale Hosts Exclusive Livestreaming Sale from Four Locations as Part of FCA Inaugural CPOV Meeting CARMEL, Ind. – September 19, 2019 – ADESA, a business unit of global automotive remarketing and technology solutions provider KAR Auction Services Inc. (NYSE: KAR), partnered with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) to pilot an ADESA Simulcast sale outside of the physical auction sale-day environment. As part of FCA’s inaugural national CPOV (certified preowned vehicle) dealer meeting, vehicles were launched into auction from four ADESA auction locations — ADESA Golden Gate, ADESA Indianapolis, ADESA Kansas City and ADESA Las Vegas. FCA CPO dealers attending the event were able to participate in fast, live bidding action. “We were extremely pleased to work with our strong partners at FCA to demonstrate the powerful potential of ADESA Simulcast to this sophisticated and tech savvy group of dealers,” said John Hammer, ADESA president. “ADESA Simulcast allows us to bring the auction right to our dealers — exposing sellers to a broader buyer base and helping buyers access the hard-to- find inventory they need. We were honored to pilot this with FCA and to add to the excitement and energy of their annual meeting.” Launched earlier this year, ADESA Simulcast is a cloud-based auction solution that allows dealers to participate virtually in multiple in-lane sales occurring in any location. As part of ADESA Simulcast, participating dealers can easily access detailed condition reports, photos, valuation tools and transportation options for purchased vehicles. The FCA sale was the first use of the technology to launch from multiple sites in a non-sale-day environment to a defined, exclusive group of dealers.

The GEM vehicle line is 100 percent electric and emits zero tailpipe emissions. GEM vehicles have been driven almost 500 million emission- free miles, saving more than 19.5 million gallons of gasoline. GEM Battery-Electric Vehicles – The Eco-Friendly, Cost-Effective Transportation Alternative Classified as Low Speed Vehicles (LSV) or Neighborhood Electric Vehicles (NEVs) by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the GEM vehicle line is street-legal in most states on roads posted 35 mph or less.

  • Daimler-Chrysler-Vehicle-Problems
Dodge Chrysler Vehicles - Poor Quality Reliability Safety Defects Page 1 of 17 DAIMLERCHRYSLER DODGE CHRYSLER VEHICLES - IMPORTANT CONSUMER INFORMATION BEFORE YOU BUY Dodge, Chrysler formerly DaimlerChrysler has had a history of excessive vehicle quality issues, safety defects and poor service. This continued despite the 1998 Chrysler merger with Daimler Benz and constant claims by DaimlerChrysler that this was a significant benefit to consumers. If anything, given the dramatic quality decline, it seems Mercedes Benz may have embraced some of the cost cutting quality standards at Chrysler to increase overall profitability. The problems continue despite stylish new vehicles and claims of new stringent quality standards by Chrysler to regain consumer confidence. Chrysler continues to deceive consumers regarding known potentially life threatening vehicle defects such as unsafe Seatbelts and Steering which continue to put consumer lives at risk every day. Chrysler still refuses to recall several common serious safety defects that cannot be absolved through mergers and buyouts. Chrysler continues to reduce its warranty expense through an aggressive refusal to honor many valid warranty claims while blaming the consumer whenever possible, such as defective engines where on schedule oil changes can be proven. Consumers often attribute this to being a dealer problem while failing to recognize that this is because Chrysler pressures dealers to keep warranty costs to a minimum, even for known problems and defects. Chrysler will do everything it can to avoid covering common problems under warranty whenever possible by blaming consumers or claiming issues cannot be duplicated. We believe Chrysler is the most negligent, deceptive, misleading and arrogant automobile manufacturer that does not deserve your business.

February 28, 2005, Auburn Hills, Mich. - The year 2004 was a landmark year for the Chrysler brand, with a fantastic display of new vehicles, model improvements and growing quality and technological prowess. In the year that marked the Chrysler brand’s 80th anniversary, the brand introduced seven new or refreshed models to markets outside of North America. Chrysler has repeatedly introduced unconventional vehicles and engineering innovations. Those innovations range from the Chrysler Six, which in 1924 redefined what a passenger car should be, to cab-forward designs and segment- defining MPVs that helped crystallise the brand’s image in the 1990s, to exciting current products like the Chrysler 300C Sedan, Touring and SRT8. The influence of the Chrysler brand’s past upon its future manifests itself in every new Chrysler product. Chrysler Brand Historical Highlights 1924: Walter P. Chrysler introduces the 1924 Chrysler Six — one of the most advanced and exciting cars of its day. The Chrysler Six is a quality light car — power in a small package — something no other brand is offering at the time. The vehicle makes maximum use of a high-speed, high-compression engine with incredible power and small displacement — along with other features such as hydraulic brakes. This becomes the first modern automobile at a very moderate price — a revolutionary concept in its day. 1925-1933: Chrysler broadens the model line to four separate series. Imperial emerges as a top-level luxury/performance car.

Tech2Win communicates with a vehicle through a vehicle communication interface (VCI), using the MDI. Almost all vehicle systems supported by Tech2 will also work with the Tech2Win. The same software downloaded and executed on Tech2 will also run on Tech2Win. For that reason, the TIS2Web communication procedures used for Tech2 are also applicable for Tech2Win. Tech2Win allows you to store as many configurations as you wish. A configuration defines how Tech2Win is to be used. Each configuration may use its own PCMCIA card file or MDI serial number. To learn more about Tech2Win please consult the help that comes with Tech2Win.
