Ram Truck Donation to Forgotten Harvest
Contact: Kevin Frazier Forgotten Harvest Receives Record-Breaking Farm Equipment Donation from Ram Truck, Case IH and New Holland Agriculture Nearly $400,000 in Equipment for Forgotten Harvest Farms October 8, 2013, Oak Park, Mich. - Forgotten Harvest, Metro Detroit’s only food rescue organization, will be able to provide millions of meals to people who would otherwise go hungry in Southeastern Michigan thanks to major equipment donations announced today by Ram Truck brand, Case IH and New Holland Agriculture. The donated equipment, worth nearly $400,000, will enable the expansion of large-scale farming operations through Forgotten Harvest Farms, where healthy fruits and vegetables are harvested by volunteers and delivered fresh and free of charge to agencies fighting hunger in the region. “In three years of harvesting fresh food from farms ourselves, we’ve gone from 100,000 pounds of food to 440,000 pounds to an estimated 850,000 pounds this year,” said Forgotten Harvest President & CEO Susan Goodell. “One of our greatest barriers to further growth was the lack of equipment to support our staff and volunteers – and today, Ram Truck, Case IH and New Holland have delivered what we need to keep growing our farming operations to feed hungry families in need.” More photos available at: https://www.facebook.com/forgottenharvest#!/forgottenharvest/photos_stream Forgotten Harvest currently has 75 acres of land under cultivation thanks to a lease donation by Forgotten Harvest board member and long-time supporter Nora Moroun, in memory of her grandmother Nora Langan. Today’s equipment donation will allow Forgotten Harvest to expand its operations at Ore Creek Farm. -
News Release Ram Claims Top Spot on J.D. Power Survey
NEWS RELEASE RAM CLAIMS TOP SPOT ON J.D. POWER SURVEY 1 September 2021 – Sydney, Australia RAM Trucks has placed first in the influential J.D Power IQS new vehicle quality survey in the USA, marking the first time a full-size pick-up truck brand has claimed the top spot. Cementing a meteoric rise in performance over the last two years, RAM’s first-place finish was fuelled by positive feedback from owners of the 2500 and 3500 trucks – named top large heavy-duty pickup in this year’s IQS – and owners of new RAM 1500 trucks, which ranked second among large light-duty pickups. RAM tied for third place in the 2020 IQS, and was 21st the prior year. The all-new RAM 2500 Heavy Duty truck is to be released in Australia shortly. “This is not a data point; this is a trend,” said Mark Champine, Head of North America Customer Experience at Stellantis, the holding group for RAM Trucks. “Anyone who knows the robustness of our product-improvement processes, as well as the engagement level of our workforce, is not surprised by these latest results.” RAM Trucks Australia 2A Hill Road, Lidcombe, NSW 2141, Australia PO Box 7517, Silverwater, NSW 1811, Australia. Null: 2005 Chrysler Brand (Outside North America)
Contact: Michele Callender Ariel Gavilan Chrysler Heritage (Outside North America) Press kit translations are available in pdf format to the right under "Attached Documents." February 28, 2005, Auburn Hills, Mich. - The year 2004 was a landmark year for the Chrysler brand, with a fantastic display of new vehicles, model improvements and growing quality and technological prowess. In the year that marked the Chrysler brand’s 80th anniversary, the brand introduced seven new or refreshed models to markets outside of North America. Chrysler has repeatedly introduced unconventional vehicles and engineering innovations. Those innovations range from the Chrysler Six, which in 1924 redefined what a passenger car should be, to cab-forward designs and segment- defining MPVs that helped crystallise the brand’s image in the 1990s, to exciting current products like the Chrysler 300C Sedan, Touring and SRT8. The influence of the Chrysler brand’s past upon its future manifests itself in every new Chrysler product. Chrysler Brand Historical Highlights 1924: Walter P. Chrysler introduces the 1924 Chrysler Six — one of the most advanced and exciting cars of its day. The Chrysler Six is a quality light car — power in a small package — something no other brand is offering at the time. The vehicle makes maximum use of a high-speed, high-compression engine with incredible power and small displacement — along with other features such as hydraulic brakes. This becomes the first modern automobile at a very moderate price — a revolutionary concept in its day. 1925-1933: Chrysler broadens the model line to four separate series. Imperial emerges as a top-level luxury/performance car. -
25 Jahre Chrysler Minivans – Ein Vierteljahrhundert Der Innovationen
