MAHANOY AREA HIGHBEAR SCHOOL FACTS GRADUATION 2015 Mahanoy Area High School GRADUATION 2015 Dear Seniors, Class of 2015 In a short period of time you will be walking out of our doors as Mahanoy Area students for the last Class Officers time. This is a bitter sweet time for all of us. As I am excited to let you find your own path in life, I President: Gabby Lorady am also saddened to let you go. You have handled yourself with a high amount of class and professionalism. Please take Class Quote both your positive and negative experiences over the past four years and move forward. The students were Daryl Andreas, Rylee Kane, Lily Leahy, Mark Mahmod, May: Kelly Walinchus and Tiffany Spalti Marcus Schmerfeld and Anne Stramara. Daryl competed in the Cybersecurity category; Lily, Mark & Marcus competed in the Personal Finance Students of the Year category; Rylee and Anne served as members Jacqui Pitts at-large. Cybersecurity and Personal Finance & Marcus Schmerfeld are both objective tests taken on a computer. Mark Mahmod finished 8th in Personal Finance and was presented a plaque at the Awards Cer- emony on Tuesday evening. The top four places Outstanding move on to National Competition. In addition to the testing, students attended workshops and Alumnus 2015 had the opportunity to observe other competi- tive performance events. There were over 4,700 Mr. Art Frye people at the SLC. This is Mahanoy Area’s first year in FBLA and we are very fortunate to have Mahanoy City High School four students qualify for state competition and to Class of 1960 have someone finish in the top ten at states is a great accomplishment.
