The 14th annual Bray Air Display* will take place on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th July 2018. One of Europe’s biggest and best air shows, Bray Air Display attracted 140,000 people to the Co. Wicklow BRAY AIR DISPLAY coastal town for the two day event last year. The event takes place along Bray’s iconic Victorian promenade with the magnificent Bray Head as the backdrop.

This year’s line-up includes over 30 aircraft as well as parachute teams and helicopters. The Garda Air Support Unit was established in September 1997 with the delivery of a Pilatus Britten- Norman BN 2T-4S Defender 4000 fixed wing aircraft and a Eurocopter AS355N Eceuriel helicopter. Midland Aviation, owned and operated by David Bruton, has been providing aircraft maintenance services for over 22 years. The unit is based at Casement Aerodrome, Baldonnel on the outskirts of Dublin city although from time to time aircraft may be based at other locations within the State.

Garda aircraft are maintained on the Irish military register. Irish Air Corps personnel pilot all aircraft and provide maintenance facilities on behalf of the Department of Justice, Equality & Law Reform.
