Carrington College does not guarantee employment. Readers should not make assumptions about their own likelihood of employment based on this data. DATA SOURCE Attempts were made to obtain employment status information for all graduates. The collected data includes, but is not limited to, the intent to work in a field-related position and, for those who are so employed, the graduate’s start date, title, employer name, duties, hours worked per week, and earnings. Information was gathered through a variety of means. Generally, the information was gathered from forms graduates completed. Data may also have been collected through in-person, telephone, or email interviews with graduates or from third-party sources. Carrington College neither verifies nor guarantees the accuracy of information gathered. TIMEFRAMES, DEFINITIONS, AND CALCULATIONS The outcomes below for AZ Phoenix East, ID Boise, and NV Reno were reported to ACEN in November 2017. The placement rate was calculated according to the methodology prescribed by ACEN. Employment data was based on the information available to Carrington College as of October 2017. The denominator of the rate was defined as all students who graduated between 07/01/2016 and 06/30/2017. The numerator of the rate was defined as all students in the denominator with new employment in nursing as of when data was available. The employment rate was calculated by dividing the numerator by the denominator. “New Employment” is defined as employment obtained no earlier than 6 months prior to graduation. “Existing employment” is defined as employment that existed at time of enrollment or was obtained more than 6 months prior to graduation. The outcomes below for NM Albuquerque were reported to ACEN in August 2017. The placement rate was calculated according to the methodology prescribed by ACEN. Employment data was based on the information available to Carrington College as of March 2017. The denominator of the rate was defined as all students who graduated between 07/01/2013 and 06/30/2016. The numerator of the rate was defined as all students in the denominator who were employed in nursing within 6-9 months after graduation and includes those who returned to formal education. The employment rate was calculated by dividing the numerator by the denominator. “New Employment” is defined as employment obtained no earlier than 6 months prior to graduation. “Existing employment” is defined as employment that existed at time of enrollment or was obtained more than 6 months prior to graduation.
