Hike Leaders Needed Sign up to Lead a Hike this Summer

The Outdoor Committee is now scheduling activities for Saturdays and Sundays in the 2014 Summer months: June, July and August. New leaders, as well as experienced leaders are welcome. Pick a favorite spot for hiking or other activities. Pick a date. Notify Pat Hennessy [email protected] to have your hike/activity added to the HHC calendar.

Would You Like to Lead a Hike But Not Sure How?

HHC has a team of 6 veteran hikers that are willing to mentor a club member wanting to learn how to lead a hike. This would be typically a two-step process. First, assist in leading one of the Mentor’s hikes. Second, the Mentor would assist you in leading a hike of your choice. Skills in map reading, GPS use and handling emergencies can be addressed. If interested, call one of the Mentors. Lynn E. Pat H.. Bruce M. Geoff N. Tom N. Jackie S.
