Where did the time go? I know we always hear people say that but it seems time is going by faster these days. There comes a time in life when we seem to reflect more on our lives and those close to us, and what they mean. 2 Running has been a big part of my life for many years, and what it has given me is priceless. Most of the things I have experienced have been wonderful. Being part of the LIRRC race team, we have put on hundreds of races over the years always doing our best to give runners what we feel that we would want in are race if we ran in it, A friendly, low cost, fun event. And with the help of quite a few talented people, we have accomplished that. In running in more races than I could ever remember over the years, and being in Eisenhower Park almost every week, I have met so many friends that I would never have met otherwise. And I am richer for it. Running is such an enriching sport, bringing people from different walks of life together by a common thread, their love of running.
