Riedy FIRST GRADE NPLNSW.COM.AU MATCH akoah Sydney City East will be focussed Hon delivering a bounce back performance when they host Sydney United 58 on Saturday. The Hensley Athletic Field based side held Blacktown in the opening week but was easy accounted for by APIA in Round 2. Hakoah will also be without veteran striker Neil Jablonski who was sent off at Lambert Park for a rash sliding challenge. Sydney United 58 was shocked by APIA in Round 1 and was rained out of their clash against Rockdale last week. However the side did play that match on Wednesday evening and suffered its second successive loss 2-1 Davor Bajsic will want to get his Reds back on track and nothing less than a win will be good enough as the 2016 Premiers battle to open their account for the 2017 season. 1ST GRADE - PLAYSTATION 4 NPL NSW MEN’S POS TEAM P W D L F A GD PTS 1 Sydney Olympic FC 2 2 0 0 5 1 4 6 2 Manly United FC 2 2 0 0 8 5 3 6 3 APIA Leichhardt Tigers FC 2 2 0 0 4 1 3 6 4 Rockdale City Suns FC 2 2 0 0 4 2 2 6 5 Blacktown City FC 2 1 1 0 3 2 1 4 6 Wollongong Wolves FC 2 1 0 1 4 4 0 3 7 Hakoah Sydney City East FC 2 0 1 1 1 3 -2 1 8 Sydney FC 1 0 0 1 1 2 -1 0 9 Sutherland Sharks FC 2 0 0 2 3 5 -2 0 10 Parramatta FC 1 0 0 1 1 3 -2 0 11 Sydney United 58 FC 2 0 0 2 2 4 -3 0 12 Bonnyrigg White Eagles FC 2 0 0 2 3 7 -4 0 5 FIRST GRADE #PS4NPLNSW REVIEWS APIA Leichhardt Tigers 2 - Hakoah Sydney City East 0 at Lambert Park APIA Leichhardt maintained their flawless start to the PlayStation®4 National Premier Leagues NSW Men’s competition season with a 2-0 win against Hakoah Sydney City East on Sunday. Two goals in five minutes just before the break, courtesy of Nathan Millgate and Jordan Murray, were the difference for the home side as they secured their second victory in as many weeks. It was a tough night at the office for Hakoah who were forced to play the majority of the match with 10 men after Neil Jablonski was sent for an early shower in the 25th minute for a rash challenge. It wasn’t a perfect display from the home side who also had a player sent off when Paul Galimi recieved a red card in the 69th minute. Hakoah were good value for their 2-1 win at Lambert Park, with a late APIA consolation adding some respectability to the score line after second half goals from Nathan Roberts and Connor Eldridge put the visitors in cruise control. Sydney United 58 began their campaign with a solid 2-0 win over APIA Leichhardt in round one and with the Reds round two fixture postponed by wet weather they will be hungry to return to action at Hensley Athletic Field. Keep an eye out for Hakoah’s Satchel Kolt and Connor Shaddock, two members of Hakoah’s 2016 championship-winning U18 side who been impressing in the season’s early stages. While for Sydney United 58, the likes of Jack Stewart and Andre Schroeder were impressive in their round one fixture and look set to play key roles in lifting the Reds up the table this campaign.
