It does not matter which sport is exercised and at what level, rivalry among clubs is one of the main sources of attractiveness of a league. The rivalry among football clubs leads to a positive “mood” in case the rival loses and leads to a negative “mood” in case the rival has a for them positive match result. It is hypothesised that these emotions due to the performance of the period rival affect the stock price performance of the focal football club. This study shows that there is evidence that the results of the period rival can have an impact on the investment decisions of club supporters. Introduction Football, or what they call it in the United States soccer, is a well-known sport exercised all around the world. It all started in 1887. In its “classic” sense, match-fixing involves a party directly or indirectly influencing or trying to influence the outcome of matches to its own benefit. In a more “modern” sense, match-fixing involves third parties (i.e. criminal organisations) attempting to influence the result of a match by inducing athletes, referees or clubs to act in a certain way during a match. ORİJİNAL ARAŞTIRMA/ORIGINAL ARTICLE Türkiye Futbol 2.Liginde Oynanan Müsabakaların Ev Sahibi Olma Avantajı Değişkeni Açısından Analizi* Analysis of Turkey Second League Football Competitions in terms of the Home Advantage ORİJİNAL ARAŞTIRMA/ Öz ORIGINAL RESEARCH Bu çalışma, Türkiye Futbol 2.Liginde, ev sahibi olma avantajı değişkeninin analiz edilerek incelenmesi amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada, ev sahibi ve deplasman Oğuz GÜRKAN1† takımlarının galibiyet sayıları ile ev sahibi olma değişkeni açısından üst lige çıkma ve 2 alt lige düşme durumları incelenmiştir. Elde edilen veriler, SPSS programında Kemal GÖRAL kaydedilerek frekans ve yüzde değerleri hesaplanmıştır. Türkiye Futbol 2.Liginin beş Özcan SAYGIN3 sezonunda oynanan toplam 2945 müsabakada, ev sahibi takımların 1290 galibiyet (%43.8) ve 795 mağlubiyet (%27.0) aldıkları belirlenmiştir. 860 maç ise beraberlikle (%29.2) sonuçlanmıştır. With the obtained data, the effect of the number of foreign players of the clubs and the market values of the clubs on the sportive success of the clubs were investigated. In the research, mixed method research was preferred by using qualitative and quantitative research methods. The research is an exploratory mixed research in terms of its purpose. The population of the research consists of the Super League professional football teams that competed in all 5 seasons between 2015- 2020. The data obtained from the transfermarket market values, the number of foreign players and the averages of the league success rankings of the football teams competing between the years 2015-2020 were classified and grouped. Then, correlation analysis was performed with SPSS analysis program.

Turkcell Receives Thank You Plaque from Turkish Football Federation
TURKCELL RECEIVES THANK YOU PLAQUE FROM TURKISH FOOTBALL FEDERATION Istanbul – Wednesday, August 16, 2006 – (NYSE:TKC, ISE:TCELL), Turkey’s leading GSM operator Turkcell, operating with the vision to increase qualified human capital in the country and the name sponsor of Turkish professional football league between 2005 and 2010, received a Thank You plaque along with Galatasaray SK, last season’s champions, from Turkish Football Federation. During a ceremony on August 13, 2006 Sunday, before a match between Galatasaray SK and Kayserispor at Ali Sami Yen stadium, Turkish Football Federation Chairman Haluk Ulusoy presented a “Support and Thank You” plaque to Turkcell Chief Marketing Officer Lale Saral Develioğlu for the company’s support to the whole of Turkish football via its sponsorship of Turkcell Super League. During a press conference after the ceremony, Lale Saral Develioğlu reminded that Turkcell would be the name sponsor for the League until 2010. Yani COVID-19 Avrupa kıtasında etkili olmaya başladığında, ulusal liglerdeki maçların önemli bir kısmı zaten oynanmıştı. Erteleme / seyircisiz oynama / olduğu haliyle tescil gibi kararların alındığı dönemde beş büyük ligde maçların tamamlanma oranı ortalama %70’in üzerindeydi.
