Two Pterophoridae species, Oidaematophorus constanti (Ragonot, 1875) and Calyciphora ludmilae Ustjuzhanin & Kovtunovich, 2011, found in the Altai mountains, are indicated for the fauna of Russia for the first time. A disjunctive type of habitat is established for these species for the first time. It is revealed that ochrodactyla ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775), is distributed to the East significantly farther, up to Baikal.

Pterophoridae (Lepidoptera) of South Siberia, and of Altai in particular, are relatively well studied. Dozens of expeditions have been performed in this region, significant materials of several thousands specimens have been examined, there are numerous publications on the Pterophoridae fauna of South Siberia (Ustjuzhanin 1990, 1996, 2011; Ustjuzhanin & Kovtunovich 2002, 2007a, 2007b, 2008, 2011, 2017; Ustjuzhanin et al. 2017). However, the recent unexpected discoveries of two Pterophoridae species in Altai turned out to be sensational. Thus, Calyciphora ludmilae Ustjuzhanin & Kovtunovich 2011 found in Altai, is separated by 2500 km from its type habitat on Trans-Alay ridge in Kyrgyzstan. The other species, Oidaematophorus constanti (Ragonot, 1875), inhabiting South Europe, and its specimen, found in Altai, are separated by 5000 km. The third species, ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775), known for Europe, West Siberia and Middle Asia, is found much east, on the southern shore of Lake Baikal. This disjunction of habitats evokes a certain zoogeographic interest and suggests that the mountain belts stretching from Europe through Front and Central Asia to Siberia are corridors (paths) for the species settlement.

PTEROPHORIDAE OF SOUTH SIBERIA

Note. This species was unexpectedly found in the Altai mountains, at an altitude of 2400 m, while its type habitat is in highlands of Trans-Alay ridge in Kyrgyzstan at altitudes more than 3000 m. This finding is new for the fauna of Russia.

Oidaematophorus constanti (Ragonot, 1875) Oedaematophorus constanti Ragonot, 1875: CCV [205]. (Type locality: France). Distribution: South Europe, Russia (Altai Republic). Note. This South-European species, as well as the previous one, is an unexpected finding in the Altai mountains. Is was discovered by the Russian-Austrian expedition in Altai in August 2016 (Huemer et al., 2016). O. constanti is a new species for the fauna of Russia.

Gillmeria ochrodactyla (Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775) (Fig. 3) Alucita ochrodactyla Denis & Schiffermüller, 1775: 145. (Type locality: Austria). Alucita tetradactyla Linnaeus, 1761: 370. (Type locality: Europe). Distribution: All Europe, south of Siberia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan. Material examined: 1 ♂, Irkutsk Region, Slyudyanka District, Vic. of vill. Kultuk, 51°43′N, 103°41′E, 500 m, 22.viii.2003, A.G. Belik & S.A. Belik. Note. Previously unknown for the East of the Kemerovo region. This finding of this species on Lake Baikal greatly expands its habitat to the East. The first indication for East Siberia.
