NEW SCHMITZ CARGOBULL TRAILERS STEAL THE LIMELIGHT IN

Entertainment industry transport firm Luckings Ltd has added four new Schmitz Cargobull S.KO MEGA FP25 dryfreight box van trailers to its growing line-up.

The four new tri-axle trailers are additions to the 40 Schmitz Cargobull assets currently in service in the company’s 100-strong trailer fleet, supported by 40 trucks and light commercial vehicles. They will be used to move entertainment equipment and sets across and the UK for theatre productions, film shows and live television events on a seven-day per week basis.

Schmitz Cargobull secured the contract to supply the new trailers following a competitive three-way tender. For Nick Dooner, Owner of Luckings Ltd, Schmitz Cargobull’s speed of response and willingness to meet customer demands proved to be the decisive factor in the selection process.

He says: “Working in the entertainment industry, one week we could be setting up for a show in the West End and the next we are doing the X-Factor.

“The main reason we chose Schmitz Cargobull was because the nature of our work is very time sensitive, so we needed a reliable manufacturer that could meet our rigorous demands and Schmitz delivered on all fronts.

“Our vehicles travel throughout Europe so Schmitz’s network of service locations and parts support is also integral to the smooth running of our business.”
