The AFL will again be awardingthe NAB Rising Star Award to the player judged to be the best young player in the 2007 Foxtel Sydney AFL competition .

To be eligible the player must :

• be in his first full season of senior football (less than four senior matches in the Sydney AFL or elsewhere prior to 2007)

• be under 21 years of age • have played a minimum of four senior matches in 2007

The weekly award winners were nominated by their clubs and awarded accordingly on their performance the previous weekend.
