Introducing the Production Staff of Mary Poppins

Patti Finley (CO-DIRECTOR) More than 20 years ago, Patti joined the Canyon Theatre Guild during her first show here, Fiddler on the Roof. Little did she realize what an important part of her family's life the CTG would become! She was elected to the CTG's Board of Directors and served for 6 years; 4 of those years as President. When her term on the Board was up, she became an employee of the CTG, as Director of Daytime Programs. The job slowly evolved into being the Assistant Director of the CTG and Artistic Director of the Family Season, in addition to teaching and directing the youth workshops. Every day of the past 20 years have been exciting, challenging, drama-filled (of course!), fun and fulfilling. This truly became an extended family for the Finley family. During this time, Patti directed over 40 shows and workshops and appeared in quite a few as well. Now, this era is coming to a close, with Patti & Greg preparing to move to Boise, Idaho to be near their children and grandchildren. "We are eternally grateful to the CTG for the wonderful creative outlet we have been provided and for the amazing friendships we have formed. We will never forget you! And now....the show must go on! Hope you enjoy it!” Lydia A. Saxton (CO-DIRECTOR/ VOCAL DIRECTOR) studied at the Julliard School, the Oberlin Conservatory of Music, and The City University of New York, receiving degrees in Musical Theatre, Music Education, and Performing Arts Management. She began her professional career in New York, performing both on and off Broadway and in regional theatre, where she also directed a variety of theatrical projects. In Los Angeles, she has worked as Music Director and Dialogue Coach for a number of theatrical productions, including serving as SCRT’s Vocal Director for last summer’s acclaimed Shrek the Musical at the PAC. She thanks her Co-Director, Patti Finley, and the SCRT/CTG Executive and Artistic Director, TimBen Boydston for entrusting her once again with a SCRT production. Ms. Saxton teaches privately in her home to select students, where her husband, Kim, and daughter, Sarah, are forever patient and loving. TimBen Boydston (EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR) is the Artistic Director and Executive Director for the CTG and SCRT. Here, he has been involved in over 150 productions, acted in over 30 and directed 27 (7 of which won Goldie Awards for Best Show). TimBen was instrumental in founding the CTG Family Season, Youth workshops, Corporate Sponsorships, and the Gala and the Cabaret fundraising events. TimBen would like to thank God for his ability to create, Ingrid his most wonderful soul-mate for her overflowing support, and Analyn his darling daughter for the joy she brings to his life.

Keri Pierson (ASSISTANT DIRECTOR) This is Keri's 4th show as assistant director at the CTG/SCRT. She would first and foremost like to thank her mentor and friend, Patti Finley for teaching her how to put on a great show! She will miss working by her side and her wonderful sense of humor. Thank you for everything. Lastly, thank you Keenan and Spencer, the best sons ever! Stay Cool boys!
