The Chairman presented the financial report for the year ended 30 September 2016. He noted a small profit had been made.

In response to a request from G Stacey the Chairman explained the reasons for the return of the pre-test luncheon from the Avondale RSA to the clubrooms. The Chairman explained that the basic reason was there was a financial advantage of hosting and operating the pre-test luncheon from the clubrooms as income produced was no longer shared with the RSA.

In response to a question from L Dowd the Chairman confirmed that the junior boys subscriptions were not included in the financial reporting of the Club.

The Chairman then indicated to the meeting the following matters were being considered by the Executive:

(a) Consideration was being given to an increase to the senior subscriptions for the coming year;

(b) The subscriptions would be individual and not team based; He also reported as to the status of grants and sponsorships as follows:

(a) There had been some positive responses from both existing and new sponsors for the Club in the coming year;

(b) A significant number of grants for the coming year have been negotiated and confirmed.

There is an investigation currently under way for a change to plastic cards which will carry electronic information for the Club in regard to members. Ron Bird confirmed he had on order membership cards in the original form that can be available this year if necessary.

Constitution:

S Crooks with Neilsons Lawyers Limited had during the year completed the drafting of the Constitution and it had been ratified by the most recent meeting of the Executive Committee.

The purpose of the Constitution was not only to deal with the current merge with Roskill Districts Rugby Football Club Incorporated but also to recognise the earlier merger with Bay Lynn Rugby Football Club Incorporated.

The club’s honorary solicitor addressed the meeting in regard to four minor changes to the drafted Constitution and then moved for the Constitution as amended to be accepted by the meeting as the Club’s new Constitution. The motion was seconded by the Chairman, S Crooks and passed by way of an unanimous decision.

Vote to Complete Merger with Roskill District Rugby Football Club Incorporated:

The Chairman spoke as regards to the history of the merger and the completion of the negotiations between the two Clubs. He then moved that the meeting vote to complete the merger. This was seconded by G Donovan and unanimously passed.

The Chairman then thanked the various committees in the two Clubs for bringing about the merger and looked forward to a successful future as a merged Club dominating rugby in the Avondale/ Roskill areas.

General Business:

The Chairman explained that the absence of a representative from the Union to speak at the Club’s Annual General Meeting. This had come about due to a conflict of dates.

The President addressed the meeting as regard to the lack of progress in regard to the ongoing re-building of the Club and in particular stage 3. S.Garea explained that Council had since granting the original consent for the earlier construction work, now completed had changed its requirements with respect to the flood plain due to the proximity of the building to the Whau Creek. This change required the Club to have new plans redrawn and the new application was now before Council.

The Chairman informed the meeting that there was currently a strong possibility Council would sand slick field 2 in 2018. It was hoped that this would be completed in time for the Club’s Centennial celebrations.

There being no more business the President closed the meeting at 8.20 pm.

Stefan Crooks Club Chairman

2017 and beyond

Looking forward to our centennial year with great excitement and having read most of my fellow reports I would have to say the we can be extremely proud of what “Suburbs” has achieved over the last 99 years.

I would like us all to take a moment to remember all who have passed and think of how they helped build, shape and galvanise our club over the past 99 years.

I was fortunate to be asked to deliver a presentation this year to many clubs of west Auckland on what makes a club successful and I made the following statement’s

“How Aspiration and dreams can lead to the success of our Community through Sport”

“I believed that we needed to give the game back to our kids and the community wouldn’t let us fail”

“I believed that inspiring good skilled people who were great at what they did would accelerate our goal’s”

I truly believe now that we have the people and the process to be able to delivery great results for our community as Suburbs as a club will benefit, I believe that we will only get stronger together and evolve our presence and not just for Rugby.

2017 offered a number of challenges and we equipped ourselves the best we could winning all bar the shield, however still amazed that we went back to back finals a club first and hopefully a new club first with a final in our 100th year, no pressure Charlie.

As the DNA of our community changes and the challenges we face in what is offered to sport as a whole we need to adapt and be open to all sport and all activity that will benefit our children and our families. Suburbs it is time to rewrite our strategic plan and it’s our responsibility to make sure we play our part in our community for the next 100 years.

Fluid harmony is a term I use when both on and off the field works together building great results and yes we have achieved many of the past few years which I’ll let you learn about in other reports.

With growth like I have said comes challenges that are real and sometimes difficult to solve, more team’s equal’s more resources, time, money and equipment not to mention volunteers so we need to work on how we build on what we already have.

Clubs don’t function without money and I am extremely grateful to our family of sponsors. Our wonderful family of sponsors I would like to thanks are LJ HOOKER, INSTANT FINANCE NEW LYNN, SPARK BUSINESS WAITAKERE, MAGNUM HIRE, WESTIE FOOD GROUP, ELF LUBRICANTS, YOUND & RICHARDSON AND AMMAN outstanding support and thankyou.

I must acknowledge the amazing support from our trusts receive. I would like to thank NORTH & SOUTH TRUST LIMITED, THE TRUSTS COMMUNITY FOUNDATION, TRILLIAM TRUST, COMMUNITY TRUSTS for your continuous support. This support is invaluable to the club and allows so many of the good things that are developing to happen thank you again.

Thanks must go to our Old boys who continue to drive the Suburbs legacy and will look forward to the centenary celebrations.

SUBURBS RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB Strategic Business Plan 2018 -2023

Vision

• To be the Sporting Club of Choice in Auckland’s West Mission • To Recruit, Develop and Retain the Best –Players, Coaches, Managers

So too our Juniors thankyou Phil, James and your wonderful team for another great year for the club and thanks to SPARK 2017 will be a little easier to create another goodie.

To our Volunteers which are many we not only thankyou we need you more and more and I always urge those that want to get involved please do so.

It’s difficult to single out individuals In a good team so I won’t you all know I do appreciate all the effort that goes into a club.

Stage 3 will commence in the new years with the hope that its finished prior to Easter. Very exciting.

The financials will be complete and will show a small trading loss year on year however with strong sponsors and the completion of stage 3 looming we can look to focus on new initiatives. We must look to drive increased membership and drive nonplaying paid members to this will be vital moving forward. The overall financial stability of the club is good.

I would like to extend thanks to our local Whau board and Council for their support. For your interest there will be a copy of our community outcome report that we send to the board.

In Summary

• Dare to dream

• Plan

• Involve committed/passion people

Presidents Report 2017 (Last one for our first Century.)

This year came and went and like all the others we saw the passing of a number of Club members. As I write this report I feel and sense a pride and gratitude that as we close off our 99th year Suburbs can say it has stood the test of time. Our club has a debt of gratitude to all who have passed on, and is a testament to their contributions, hard work on and off the field.

Each year we summarise in our own way the year that was, on the field being top day 2016 champions. We were a beacon to all who came to play us. Congratulations to Charlie, Carl, management and players a good season, probably lacking the consistency of the previous season but with current players and your introduction of new players our expectations are high. To all our teams, seniors and juniors the red and blue jerseys were worn with distinction. To management, coaches, players and supporters the future looks solid and is with thanks to all that I can say this confidence, thank you.

Behind the scenes we saw the completion of the floodlit carpark, we know have building consent for the stage 3 development (and are just waiting for funds). We have an energetic Old Boys donating a new scoreboard and keeping up with a little trivia. Thank you, J.G, R.C. and R.F. and all members. To Wayne thanks for all your time and efforts, a pleasure.

Our pre test luncheon was another success, to Neil and Geoff thank you. To Shiree and staff, it is always a pleasure and thank you as with Joel and his band of helpers in the kitchen. I hope all the members and visitors keep on patronising and enjoying the bar and kitchens high standards.

Our committee executive and juniors, to all as per previous years for your time and efforts thank you. Stefan, as usual Chairman doesn’t have many perks it’s been that way for 99 years and I am glad it hasn’t changed but a big thank you from the Club and me personally.

Finally, as this is the last report for the Suburbs first 100 years I would like to invite passed, current and future members to celebrate the Clubs Centennial year of 2018 and have a safe end to this year.

Regards Colin Farrell

This is a huge honour for Auckland Maori Rugby to host a tournament of this magnitude.

Suburbs commend Auckland Maori Rugby for the hard work and efforts put into reviving a part of history.

Health & Safety:

With the implementation of the Blue Card for concussion there have been approximately 70 cards issued since the beginning of the season, some players still have not been cleared because of not adhering to the process.

Blue Card process.

• A Blue Card may only be issued by a certified Referee, on the field during the game. • The referee may issue a blue card after consulting with the Assistant Referee. In receiving a report from an Assistant Referee, the referee must then make his own assessment of the player. If he assess the player as showing symptoms of concussion then he can Blue Card the player.

• Players with, concussion issues have access to Axis Sports Medicine Specialists who run Auckland’s most comprehensive sports concussion service, and it is free of charge.

Staffed by medical experts with vast experience in rugby and sports concussion its aim is to see each patient who has been referred to them within a week of their injury and no referral is required for injuries sustained within 10 days of an appointment.

Secondary Schools Rugby:

• Rugby’s 1B competition has a great pool of talent and should be a good link for clubs. Clubs are best to lead this connection with schools.

• There is the opportunity for smaller schools to combine to create composite teams. • There are opportunities for growth in women’s/girls rugby; composite opportunities also available consider. Consider club/school mix.

• Schools are struggling to find coaches and importantly quality coaches • Engage with schools; clubs lead and support from clubs to schools for coaches, support staff.

• Have shorter or a modified season for some grades. • Secondary school issue is very complex and ARU stakeholders need to address how to retain school leavers.

Holly M.B. Kairua B.A. Club Captain

Suburbs is not a one hit wonder with club only getting stronger seeing more members, financially buoyant and more supporters than last year. Although our Premiers didn’t bring home the Gallagher Shield, they still brought every other trophy a Premier team in Auckland could thanks to the leadership of Carl Perry and coach Charlie McAlister, our juniors are still growing adding Roskill District as another junior group on the rise, ever present Presidents, invigorated Under 20’s, by no means a light-weighted Under 85’s, our first ever Women’s team, a successful First Grade and Plate winning Reserve/Premier Development squad. The Suburbs Executive and Rugby Committee need to ensure that all our teams are adequately supported with coaches, managers, clinics for development, equipment and more importantly players. The only way to continually grow positively is securing the support is appropriate and we will see more silverware in our club across the board. We nearly got this right this year, we just need to tweak a few things to get it right, however, our Executive Committee continues to improve our position with growth and sustainability at the forefront in everything we do with a strong commitment to our players, our members, our supporters and our community. Next year is a huge year for Suburbs as our 100 year centennial encroaches upon us with events, rugby games, reunions and celebrations planned and I encourage current members to reach out to as many past members and supporters of Suburbs be involved in the celebrations and all the games for the season. We need your help to show our community what it means to belong to a great club and done the Red & Blue colours once again. For the 13 years on the Executive Committee, Club Captain, coaching and currently still play for Suburbs since 1968, I’ve seen the development, the changes, the highs and the lows, but am still very proud to be involved with our club. Another proud aspect of how Suburbs has grown is through its involvement with the Auckland Referees Association having eight club members putting back into Auckland Rugby each Saturday and throughout the week. Without the support of coaches, managers, assistants, parents and supporters to our teams, our club will not be thriving the way it is, so my congratulations to you all for your effort this past year. Congratulations to those Suburbs players in the Super Rugby, Mitre10 Cup, Auckland Development Squad, Auckland Colts, Auckland U20’s,Auckland 7’s team and those in France, the UK and including the Katipos who represented us in Cardiff at the Golden Oldies Rugby World Cup late last year and the World Masters Games this year. It’s these players who will mentor and role model our young Suburbs players to reach for higher standards in their game. Finally I would like to show my gratitude to all those who have supported your Suburbs teams over the 2017 season. I invite and urge you all to bring more people down the club to be involved in events held at Shadbolt or to watch and support our senior and junior teams in the 2018 rugby and touch season.

The Suburbs Old Boys Association had its AGM on 3 March 2017. The meeting was advised that our longstanding senior members, Patron Ron Bird, and Past President/Treasurer Lloyd Dowd, would be not be standing for re- election as officers. Our thanks go to Lloyd and Ron for the outstanding service to Club and OB Association. The following Officers were elected: Patron: Ted Atkins Vice Patron: Merv Smith President: Robert Chisholm Committee: Andrew Wikaira, Bill Walker, Chrissy Eades, Geoff Stacey, John Grayson, Peter Osborne, Red McCabe, Wayne Dowd. At a committee meeting in May 2017, Geoff Stacey was elected as Treasurer. The Old Boys Association continued on from last year. This involved support for the traditional items, such as Blazers for Prems, Catering for the Junior Boys at Prize giving, Annual Golf Day. Summary of key events: Huddle Software: Old Boys Association sponsored the purchase of the Huddle Performance Enhancing Software for the Premiers. A good return on Investment, with the Premiers winning the Pre-season Tournament, The Minor Premiership, and making the grand final for the 2nd year in a row. Blazers: The OB Association awared blazers to Trope Yandall, Nathan Humpries, and Joel Burns, for achieving 60 caps with Suburbs Premiers. Best of the West: The Old Boys hosted the Annual Luncheon, which was a rip roaring success thanks to Mark Birtwistle, who gave a great speech which focussed on his time playing against Waitemata, and with Waitemata Players and coaches during his represenative career. Mark was captain for the very first challenge. He lost that one, but this year the the Prems came good and bought the trophy back to Suburbs, where it belongs, after a long absence up in Henderson. The trophy is in memory of Ivan Patterson, and there will be no Old Boy who does not remember Ivan. Suburbs Eden Challenge Cup in memory of Ross Grayson and Bruce Stevens: The Old Boys hosted Eden in a prematch function which was very well received by all who attended. Premiers delivered the Trophy back to Suburbs, though the game could have gone either way. Prize giving: The Old Boys awarded the Neil Gibson Trophy for Ideal Club member to Joel Burns. The Old Boys Premier Player of the Year Trophy was awarded to Trope Yandall. For junior prize giving, the Old Boys took great pleasure in again providing a warm meal for all the clubs junior members. Annual Golf Day: Sponsorship funding has been provided for the 2017 Golf Tournment to be held in November at Redwood Park. Some current Old Boys projects are continuations from 2016. Facebook Page: The Old Boys Association operates a Facebook Page. Currently there are 107 members. The Facebook Page keeps all in touch with respect to club activities, or club memories, or anything of interest. Suburbs Team Photo Archive: Old Boys are encouraged to bring Team photos from the 20th century, so that an archive can be constructed. The championship photos which were on the walls of the Old Clubhouse have been professionally digitised by Wayne Dowd Photography. This project is for all the others who never made it on to the wall, and that’s most of the teams since 1918. A collection of about 100 has been archived to date, ranging from mid 1930’s to 1990’s. We are hoping to add greatly to this collection during the centennial year. The procedure is to bring down your photo collection to the club, during the curtain raiser whenever the Prems have a home game. The old Team photos are simply re-photographed with a digital camera, and after some editing, they are ready for the archive. We hope to have the archive on display for the Centennial Year. The Archive Project is designed to include all clubs associated with the Suburbs brand. Some Bay-Lynn and Blockhouse Bay RFC photos are in the archive. Mt Roskilll Old Boys will be doing their part to ensure that as much of the Roskill and Hillsborough RFC history as possible can be preserved into the archive. SubOBs Informer: This is an ongoing Old Boys Project, produced randomly as time or occasion permits. There will be another one or two in 2017. Centenary Jersey: The Old Boys petitioned the Club to adopt a one off Jersey, to be worn by the Premiers, for the Centenary Year. It is hoped the club adopts this, and accompanies it with merchandising so that all Club members and Supporters can purchase and wear the Suburbs Centenary Jersey and associated spots apparel. Audio Visual Project: The Old Boys are currently considering offering the club a Centennial present of an Audio Visual asset to complement and enhance the clubroom experience, particularly after match, and during functions. A key part would be the ability to operate the system from users own electronic devices. A simple example would be the Old Boys Raffles, where the promotion and the draw of the raffle could be done via a large screen. There are multiple other uses envisaged for such a system. Centennial Year: The Old Boys Association is ready, willing, and able to work with the Club to promote and assist in Centenary Year Activities during the 2018 season. Argentine Tour Reunion: The Old Boys propose to host a re-union for the 1975 tourists, families, and friends. The idea is to have the reunion in the first October when the new Clubrooms are available. If that is 2018, then it will be the 43rd anniversary. Fundraising: Some large ticket items have been purchased via the cash reserves built up by previous committees. The current operating costs of the Old Boys Association are funded by income generated through subscriptions and raffles, and some interest on term deposit account. The Old Boys can do a lot more to support Club activities if a greater income is generated, and we will looking to build on this in 2018.

Due to us winning the ‘Gallaher shield’ 2016, we knew we had to up our game. We worked really hard in gathering our key learning’s from what lead us to victory for the first time in a few years. So our 2017 planning was very much inclusive within our group and externally to find an edge that will drive us to our goals.

1. Management organisation was and continued to be second to none, which a large amount of time spent on consultative advice preseason, in season and post season. As normal we started prepping for our season before the end of our season as we needed to be on the networks for a wide range of reasons. Many hours spent on this area.

9/10

2. Management accountability goes without saying, It’s extremely important all our management and players have clarity with in their roles, at trainings and game day.

This is something I push hard, simply due to self-discipline and team discipline outcomes. With these actions, we know exactly where to go if we have a clot in our team or structure issue on and off the field.

9/10

3. Trust and key learning’s, and dealing with challenges on the run. I guess with having a very experienced Team manager, and Head Coach who have absolute trust for each other, we were able to address issues or dents appearing before any crashes. From there our communications onto Stefan were always solution minded rather that surprised dramas.

Our relationship with the junior club, and the ‘Wiser ‘ones is always something I aspire to drive. as we are grateful to those whom have made the path smoother for us to follow.

Having access also to the ITM coaches a few times was also a very good thing to put our boys in front of the leading coaches within our region.

10/10

4. Pre season-in-season-post season. These areas are always very important for planning, keeping the environment strong and debriefing with a group of players after the season. We work very hard in all these areas.

Planning is the key to any success, then job descriptions, then clarity, then mature feedback and dialogue with all within our group.

Then all the practical work is put into place at our camp at our Marae, into Waka Nathan, then into our first round, then goal reset after each challenge to make it up the ladder towards our goals.

There are ALWAYS challenges on a daily hourly basis 24/7 when you are trying to bring a group of around 50 people together heading in ONE DIRECTION with a clear path, and having the experience of Allie, Stefan and myself to keep the group on the most accurate, and direct path towards our goal.

Our Camp goes into large depth from our consultations in the previous 5 months of planning, this is where all is explained and all is laid out within the VARK method, so no body misses our methodology.

Starting with Character Building philosophies- 1/ A diverse group of cultures and individuals come together, 2/ A architectural vision for the group is articulated, driven by the Head coach, 3/ Structures and parameters are agreed upon by the team,4/ The coaches Vision becomes the groups vision, driven by the players,5/ players input is sought and valued, 6/A positive learning/leadership environment is created and fostered.

These key areas are the foundation blocks of mine and Allie’s which drives toward success. after all is set in place, there isn’t a lot up for negotiation apart from human behaviour.

10/10

5. Recruitment/Retention

This area is always extremely important, WHY? you may ask... simply due to the turnover in players for whatever reasons, which is also a direct freedom of any player or management.

After losing ALL OUR FORWARDS from the championship team apart from Dean William throughout the pre-season from Nov through till March 2017, then Trope turned up during the Waka Nathan competition.

So we had huge pressure to try and recruit and rebuild the pack from pretty much nothing to where we ended up in the comp, which was a massive credit to our management team.

The college level is getting more harder to recruit players due to clubs being a lot more greedy and creative, and offering all sorts of enticements, which we don’t offer at all apart from if a member/members decide to do something without my direct knowledge.

So for Suburbs continued success which many have had over the past couple seasons some direct help outside the norms would be a appreciated to compete for these new breed of selfish wanabees!!

10/10

6. Retaining and communicating with our current player’s base for the 2017 season.

We had to work extensively hard in this area after the championship year, as was mentioned earlier, to almost have a complete pack change and to finish up in was an amazing achievement, adding our scrum/lineout was pretty average all year due to many changes, injuries and absentness for whatever reason, as we don’t own the players, they are not pro’s so we have to deal whomever turns up at trainings each evening.

Also due to the style we play, our fields are in the top two worst in the union, the lack of care during the season really was a blight on any teams preparations going into the biggest time of the year, with 4 weeks left of our season, the fields were very close to unplayable and untrainable.

A massive credit must be given to Carl Perry, Dean Williams for their relentless support of our environment and culture.

10/10

In Summary.

After coming off the back of winning the Championship, 2017 was always going to be a challenge in all areas of preparation, and also the clubs expectations. However our goal again was to win the championship.

With only Dean back from our 2016 championship team, recruitment was at the forefront of our operation After only losing one game in the first round to make the top 8, then to win 5 of the 7 games in the top 8 to win the Alan McEvoy Trophy and a home semi-final was a huge credit to our culture and whole team, then to clean up Riffles in the semi was a massive boost to our team going into Eden park once again, to make Eden park Grand final 2 years in a row really was a credit to our support from the Total club.

After another very successful season some things come to an end due to whatever reasons.

So on this note we say good bye to Duane who is stepping up within the old timers team and we are very grateful of his service and humour within our team.

Sithon and Jonny have young families and have decided to venture their valuable time into those areas, however I’m sure they will be around to support us whenever they wish to as they are welcome into our environment anytime.

Our Team manager Allie Wright has made a huge impact on the club over the past two seasons, her strength and courage has made a major impact on many people within the clubs leadership and she will be very much missed. Allie is a natural leader, with a massive work ethic towards excellence in whatever she puts her mind to. I am blessed to have her as a dear friend and a confidant. Allie moves onto a major roll with in Elite sports leadership now and we wish her blessings all the way.

So looks like stuck with me again, is Mike Perez on the video set up, and it’s always great to have an experienced head around driving this important aspect of our game analysis.

Kind Regards Charlie McAlister

The junior club started registrations with a “Family Fun Day”, and thanks to all who helped make this a success for a second year. Registrations continued into April, and school holidays in April meaning registrations continued to early May. Suburbs finished with juniors steady with 510 registrations and 36 teams in 2017, and we continued strong player numbers in half field teams.

U5 Nursery 5 teams U6 – U7 Ripper 14 teams U8 – U10 Tackle ½ field 13 teams U11 – U13 Full Field 4 teams

Added to this were 5 teams at Roskill Juniors.

Below is a couple of pictures of U7 Rippa Roskill Ninjas vs Suburbs Bulldogs.

This year Auckland JRC trialled combining U9 and U10 together based on age, with 4 different weight grades. Consensus across the Auckland Clubs that some flexibility on age is good, and helps to form teams. The downside is that a too much flexibility was allowed, and that a full team of U10 vs a team of U9 is too big a stretch for the U9 players. Next year the JRC has agreed that will return to ‘normal” age grades, but will allow clubs to apply for limited number of exceptions, with criteria as guidance on the acceptable reasons.

Suburbs juniors applied for use of Green Bay Domain for training and Saturday games. It has taken a couple of seasons to achieve this, as Bay Olympic Soccer have been the traditional user. We were able to get agreement with Auckland Council to share the usage of this ground. This is used as an alternative to Shadbolt Field 2 for Rippa games, as it is close to Shadbolt Park. Several Saturday Rippa games were played at Green Bay Domain until the continuous wet weather this season meant it too became difficult to mow. This left May Road getting used for early morning junior games. The Avondale race course doesn’t open until 10:30am, and access to the race course is now more difficult as the Jockey Club has closed off access from Ash road. The intention from Junior Committee is to apply for use of Green Bay Domain in 2018, and is considering applications for training at the Terry Street Reserve as well.

Finding volunteers to coach and manage teams is a challenge, and junior rugby is needing to contend with the changes to society where either both parents or singles parent families are working long hours. Special thanks to all coaches and managers of the junior club who volunteered to run teams. Josh Kronfeld was available throughout the season to assist coaches. I have received many comments about the positive results from the training sessions that Josh ran with teams.

All of this was made possible through the dedicated efforts of the Junior Committee, Kelli-Ann Officer, Simon Milner, Kirsten Hansen, James Cameron, Phil Webb, Janine Smillie, Penny Brodie, Craig Holt, and Cesare Lang volunteering to help on the junior committee. James Cameron this year was the Junior Delegate Mt Roskill, now that the two clubs are aligned.

Wayne Dowd continued his assistance with all matters related to administration. Plus cameraman for the photo day was a huge effort. Registration this year was completed through the “online” Sporty database, and all registrations must now get entered through this system. It is good system to aide collaboration across the committee for the registration process, as we can all access the single point of registration data. As with most computer system it does have some glitches, and hopefully NZ Rugby will continue to work on development of this system.

There is a good link between the junior and senior club committee members which leads to good collaboration. Thank you for the support from the senior club, Stefan Crooks, Gary Donovan, the Executive committee and the Old Boys.

The final event for the Junior Season was the prize giving, special thanks to everyone who helped this evening. It was a great to see the big turn out from the junior club players and support from parents. We have to split the prize giving into 4 sections because with each one filling the clubrooms there was reports from the Old Boys that they cooked 700 sausages on the night.

Looking forward to next year, the committee continues to work on ways to improve the functioning of the junior club, and aims to build connections with the local community.
