A.G. was born on October 11, 1943 in the Yard community of Tennessee Colony, Texas (Anderson County) to the parentage of Willie Frank and Juliana Gray, who pre- ceded him in death. Three siblings; brothers, Willie Lewis Gray and Overton Gray, one sister, Josephine Gray also preceded him in death. A.G. accepted Christ at an early age in Dallas, Texas. He attended elementary schools in the Bethel community (Anderson County) and in Dallas, Texas. He attended high schools at; Massey Lake High, in the Massey Lake com- munity and Green-Bay High, Tucker, Texas both in Anderson County. A.G. retired from the City of Dallas as an Electrician and returned to Yard, Texas to be near his cousins and friends. A.G. loved people and trusted everybody he met, and was willing to do anything to help them whenever needed. He was a man that had many hobbies, one being an expert of; “telling non-harmful fictional stories” which his family enjoyed listening to during their many holiday gatherings. His western attire (jeans, cowboy boots, belt and hat) was his trademark style for many years and he wore it with pride. A.G. departed this life at his resident on Saturday, June 16, 2018. He leaves to mourn his departure: Two brothers: James Edmond Gray, DeSoto, Texas and Steven Lewis Davis, Dallas, Texas. Four sisters: Ruby Cleola Bennett, Palestine, Texas, Shirley Ann (Angus) Gray, Patricia Ann (Bill) Rambo and Erma Jean Davis all of Dallas, Texas. One nephew: Ronald Jordan, Cleveland, OH. Eleven nieces: Teresa (Phillip) Hollie, Mesquite, Texas, Theronica (Gary) Bond, Irving, Texas, Juliana S. Gray, Dallas, Texas, Eva Crumby, Elizabeth Rambo, Austin, Texas, Tamara Rambo, Dallas, Texas, Erika Wright, Errian Gray and Yetonda Free, all of Fort Worth Texas, Twanna G. Bennett, Albuquerque, New Mexico and Margie Taylor. One great aunt: Beatrice Johnson, Oklahoma City, OK. He also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.
