You and your family are invited to the 2015 HHS conference located in Lexington and the beautiful of central Kentucky. It's not surprising that Lexington, with near-by horse farms, Racecourse, The Red Mile Racecourse, the , and Old Friends Farm for retired thoroughbreds, is known as the Horse Capital of the World. Children, as well as adults will enjoy riding horses at the Kentucky Horse Park; visiting with retired horses at Old Friends Farm; touring a chocolate factory; swimming in the hotel’s pools; and participating in the after dinner silent auction and dancing.

Wednesday evening: Early arrivals will meet at the hotel at 5:00 pm and enjoy dinner at Cracker Barrel. All attendees are invited to an after dinner get-together with family and friends at the home of Joe and Mary Hinchman for "Coffee, Cookies, and Conversation."

Thursday morning: Children and adults alike will enjoy a group tour of Old Kentucky Chocolates, as well as sampling delicious chocolate treats. The gift shop includes many gifts.

Friday morning: Adults can enjoy a tour and tastings at Alltech Brewery & Distillery which is conveniently located in Lexington and included on Kentucky's famous Bourbon Trail.

Thursday and Friday afternoons: Conference attendees are "On Your Own" to discover places of interest.

 Equine Tourism: Kentucky Horse Park; Old Friends Farm; informative horse farm bus tours.  History: For attendees interested in history there are Mary Todd Lincoln's home and Henry Clay's home in Lexington and the Horse Museum at the Kentucky Horse Park.  Shopping: Irish Acres Gallery of Antiques is located at Nonesuch, Ky. Walmart is conveniently located about five miles from hotel at Exit 110 in the Hamburg shopping area. Lexington Mall is south on Nicholasville Rd.  Central Kentucky area attractions include Shaker Village in Harrodsburg and Cassius Marcellus Clay's White Hall home near Richmond, as well as distilleries and wineries in Lawrenceburg, Nicholasville, Richmond and Versailles. Thurs and Friday evenings: The group will meet at local restaurants for dinner.

Saturday is a busy day: Morning group tour to watch thoroughbreds run in early morning work-outs at Keeneland Racecourse, lunch at a local restaurant, then wine tasting at Equus Run winery. Afternoon at the hotel for genealogy workshop [if requested]. The annual business meeting begins at 4:00 pm followed by socializing, free* buffet dinner, Hinchman Bingo with prizes and the now famous Hinchman Silent Auction.

New this year: Kevin Hinchman will provide your favorite DJ music for dining and dancing.

* Yearly dues must be paid along with the cost of your dinner in advance and attendance at the annual business meeting. Checks will be issued to you to refund the cost of your dinner.

Four Points Sheraton, Lexington, KY is conveniently located at Exit 115 on I-75. Telephone 859-259-1311. Room rate: $119. + $13.42 tax. Reserve your room before 6-8-2015 and check with hotel about cancellation and early departure policies.

Cracker Barrel and McDonald's are located within walking distance. The hotel is about five miles from Walmart and Hamburg Shopping Center and about four miles from the Kentucky Horse Park.

Chocolate: Old Kentucky Chocolates has two locations in Lexington. The the tour is located on Southland Drive. The store includes University of Kentucky and Kentucky gift items, as well as delicious chocolates and other treats. Children will especially like this tour. Bourbon and Beer: Lexington is included on Kentucky's Famous Bourbon Trail. Alltech's Town Branch Brewrey and Distillery is located in Lexington. Equus Run Winery is located near Midway which is about ten miles west of Lexington. Local residents, as well as visitors enjoy the tasting room, special dinners, entertainment, etc. Beautiful views are the perfect locations for impromptu family photos.
