Highlights from PTBE’s Trip to L’Taken* in Washington D.C. By Jonah Lipson My time in Washington D.C. was very intense and inspiring. Our group of 9, including Tobey Miner, Maggie Sena, Maddie Strause, Sophia Attell, Claire Attell, Ilan Listgarten, Kyra Schechter, Rabbi Laura and I, had a great time together. After a long plane ride, we finally arrived on Friday night in the U.S. Capital. That night the program greeted us with a nice Shabbat dinner and Kabbalat Shabbat service and we then got to discussing the reason we were there, which was lobbying to Congress. Get Up and Go: Senior Friendship Club Zara Jaffe, President In partnership with PJCC’s Get Up and Go programs, the Senior Friendship Club is held at the Peninsula Jewish Community Center Boardroom on Wednesday.

Please bring your bagged lunch, starting at noon. Or, if you would like to order lunch through the PJCC, please order by 9am the morning of the program. Optional ordered lunch includes half sandwich (tuna or veggie on whole wheat bread) and a cup of soup of the day for $6.00.
