Die Kristalle wurden 1 Inhalt zu Pulver verarbeitet und in mehrere Ampullen abgefüllt. Jack und Chase machen sich sofort auf den Weg. Derweil gehen die Untersuchungen im Hause der Millikens weiter. Ein Detective stellt sich Julia vor und bittet sie darum ein paar Fragen zu beantworten. Da Julias Anwalt noch nicht da ist, wird sie langsam panisch. Schließlich ist sie doch bereit die Fragen zu beantworten. Durch ihr schlechtes Gewissen und Selbstvorwürfe kann sie die Wahrheit nicht lange verbergen und erzählt Detective Norris was geschehen ist. Als er sich anschließend mit Sherry Palmer in Verbindung setzt, streitet diese alles ab. Sie behauptet die ganze Nacht ihren Ex-Mann bei der Arbeit unterstützt zu haben. Welches dieser auch bestätigen könnte. Als Jack, Chase und ein SWAT-Team im Versteck der Terroristen ankommen, finden sie nur noch Amador vor. Alvers und Saunders sind verschwunden. Amador ist allerdings nicht bereit über den Verbleib des Viruses auszusagen. Er läßt allerdings durchsickern, dass sein Auftraggeber Jack sehr gut kennen würde. Als das SWAT-Team die Räume durchsucht finden sie Amadors Labtop mit Plänen des Chandler Plaza Hotels. Das Hotel wird sofort kontaktiert und hermetisch abgeriegelt. Da nicht klar ist ob der Virus schon freigesetzt wurde, darf keiner mehr rein oder raus. Da Michelle Dessler bereits Erfahrung mit Bio-Terroranschlägen hat, stellt sie ein Team zusammen und fährt mit Gael zum Hotel. Da die Schutzanzüge, die vor dem Virus schützen sollen, erst in 20 Minuten eintreffen werden, entschließen sich Michelle, Gael und ein paar andere CTU Agenten ohne Schutzanzug reinzugehen. Da Alvers erst vor ein paar Minuten gesichtet wurde sind die Chancen sehr hoch, dass der Virus noch abgefangen werden kann. Als Michelle Alvers in einem der Technikräume im Keller stellen kann, hat er den Virus bereits im Lüftungsraum positioniert. Als Gael den Raum erreicht schafft er es allerdings nicht mehr rechtzeitig an den Virus heranzukommen. Die Zeitschaltuhr läuft aus und das Gerät, dass den Virus durch eine kleine Explosion freisetzt, wird aktiviert. Kritik / Review fehlt. Notast er við orðræðugreiningu í anda Michel Foucault. Með henni er reynt að svara þeim spurningum hvort pyntingar séu réttlættar sem tól í baráttunni gegn hryðjuverkum, hvort sú ímynd sé dregin upp af múslimum að þeir séu hryðjuverkamenn og hvort sértækar aðgerðir gegn múslimum í þágu öryggis séu lögmætar. Kenningagrunnur ritgerðarinnar byggir á kenningum sem varða poppmenningu og öryggismál. Mótunarhyggja, póststrúktúralismi og póstmódernismi eru útskýrð í tengslum við poppmenninguna en sá hluti sem snýr að öryggismálum er byggður á raunhyggju og frjálslyndisstefnu. Til að grundvalla umræðuna enn betur er mismunandi nálgun á baráttuna gegn hryðjuverkum skilgreind út frá svokölluðum „10. september hugsun“ og „12. september hugsun“. Í þeim birtast fræðilegar nálganir raunhyggju og frjálslyndisstefnu gagnvart öryggishugtakinu. Orðræðugreining leiddi í ljós að í mörgum tilvikum eru pyntingar sýndar í jákvæðu ljósi, múslimar gerðir að hryðjuverkamönnum og sértækar öryggisaðferðir gegn múslimum notaðar í sjónvarpsþáttunum 24.
