Installing the Educational Combo Disks

Install AppleWin (Apple II Emulation Program for Windows)

You may skip this page if you already have AppleWin properly installed.

1 - In your Documents Library create a new folder named “AppleWin”

2 - Click to follow this link: https://github.com/AppleWin/AppleWin

3 - Click download Version 1.25.0.3 (or latest version)

4 - When asked whether to download or save, click on “save.” The program will be saved in your Downloads file.

5 - Click “open” – a zipped folder will open

6 - Click “Extract all files”” – this will create a sub-folder AppleWin (+ version #) in your Documents folder.

7 - From this folder you may right-click the AppleWin application and then pin it to your start menu or Taskbar. You could also copy the shortcut and paste it to your desktop.

8 - Launch AppleWin by double-clicking on the AppleWin application.

9 - Read the GNU Public License information and click “I accept.” Install Educational Combo Disk Image

1 - In your AppleWin folder, open a new folder named “Educational Combo.”

2 - Use your Internet browser to go to http://www.Bible- prophecy.com/ron/software/educationalcombo/

3 - A remote folder will open displaying two disk files.

4 - Click on the file (innerglo_educationalcombo_s1_dos33.dsk)

5 - A dialog box will open on the bottom of the page. Use the down-arrow next to “Save” to select “Save as.”

6 - Navigate to your Educational Combo folder and open it. Click “Save.”

7 - Return to the remote folder to transfer the other disk file.

8 - Click on the file (innerglo_educationalcombo_s2_dos33.dsk)

9 - A dialog box will open on the bottom of the page. Use the down-arrow next to “Save” to select “Save as.”

10 - Navigate to your Educational Combo folder again and click “Save.”

11 - Close your Internet browser.

12 - Check the “Educational Combo” folder to see if the two disk image files have been written.

1 - Launch AppleWin by double-clicking on the AppleWin application.

2 - Set proper configuration by clicking on the second icon from the bottom on the right side of the window. It has a image.

For “Model” select “Apple IIe.”

For “Mode” select “Color (Text Optimized).”

Close configuration dialog box by clicking “Close.”

3 - Click on the Disk #1 icon (third from the top-right).

4 - Navigate to your “Educational Combo” file.

5 - Double-click disk image file #1 (innerglo_educationalcombo_s1_dos33.dsk).

6 - Click on the Disk #2 icon (third from the top-right).

7 - Navigate to your “Educational Combo” file.

8 - Double-click disk image file #2 (innerglo_educationalcombo_s2_dos33.dsk).

9 - Click the Start button (AppleWin logo) (second from the top-right).

10 - Type “CATALOG” and press “Return” (Enter)

11 - Type “RUN SUPERMATH” (or one of the other programs listed above for side one). And press “Return” (Enter).

12 - Follow the instructions in the program. Detailed instructions for some of the programs can be seen by clicking on the links below.

13 - To run the programs on the second side, click the “switch” box (below drive #2), then type “CATALOG.”

14 - Type “RUN START” and press “Return” (Enter).

15 - Follow the instructions to begin the interactive tutorial 1, 2 or 3.

16 - Follow the step-by step instructions.

To stop a program, use the “Esc” key or press the “Ctrl” key and “” at the same time. To clear the screen and prepare to issue the CATALOG command again: Type “TEXT” and press “Return”(Enter) Type “CALL-936” and press “Return”(Enter)
