You may then think it is strange that I spent a year of my life writing the biography of a famous Sheffield burglar, exploring his antics and dragging his cowardly crimes back into the limelight after a century of almost obscurity. The rogue in question was Charles Frederick Peace, a master of cat burglary and cunning disguise, and a man whose life was entirely deserving of being immortalised.
