We do this by promoting and creating equal access to services, buildings and information for the people of Macclesfield. Most activities take place at our centre in Henderson Street, Macclesfield. We also have a number of shops across the area, raising vital funds for our charity, including a furniture showroom, which offers free collection of used furniture for resale. We are a social club for adults with special needs aged 18 – 80, their parents and carers. All our events take place between 7.00pm and 9.30pm. We work closely with health and social care, voluntary organisations and the private sector to provide a range of services and can make formal referrals to other services to make life simpler for people with dementia and their families. Body Positive is the provider of the Condom Distribution Scheme. We offer additional support to people who are experiencing issues around sexual orientation and gender identity, their friends and family.
