The party has started without them. So Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion whine, get angry, and whine some more, emote a little and find themselves on the run because the evil JLA want their heads on a stick, right beside the gorilla and other dude see above. Yeah, favors. Then nertz to you! View all 19 comments. The Rogues are definitely my favorite villains in the DCU. I guess my tolerance was pretty high recently for me to actually rate it as I did. It's cheesy and formulaic, yet somehow I didn't mind. Forever: Evil: Rogues Rebellion is a story arc that derives directly from the Forever Evil event that takes place in the Justice League series. What we have is a recap of who the Rogues are as if we didn't already learn everything we needed to know about each of them throughout the first four volumes of the New 52 The Flash series. Brian Buccell This was cute. Brian Buccellato, who has worked with Francis Manapul, takes the lead Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion this series and gives fans the Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion in their kindest form as they play the role of heroes in a city where villains want to destroy their city. Guided by this desire to protect the city that they love to rob, they go on an adventure that leads to loss, but also friendship and love. Each issue starts with a new threat and ends with another. All sorts of characters are shoehorned into the Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion and quickly dealt with, and every time we get a taste of the Rogues ability to work as a team. There's lots of clever ways they could use their corny powers to make it all look cool, but ultimately, it all still felt childish, sporadic and impulsive. Leadership is also explored throughout the story, but nothing that was Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion done before. The artwork wasn't great, and sometimes really got ugly. Can't say I'd want to revisit this for the artwork. Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion is still a quick and somewhat fun ride for anyone to check in between volume 4 and 5 of The Flash. Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion will feel redundant to some things you have seen before, but it also gives you a bit more of the Crime Syndicate that messed around Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion the Justice League. This is a collection of adventures as the Rogues discover life is about to be oppressive and deadly under the reign of the Crime Syndicate -- and they aren't having any of it! There's a few Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion things here -- loss of 'genetic' powers, powers on the fritz, villains as heroes, last minute saves, cliffhangers -- but this collection tells a pretty decent tale. Now, I read it interspersed with the other books that make up the whole For I'm biased towards the Flash's Rogues' Gallery. Now, I read it interspersed with the other books that make up the whole Forever Evil saga, Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion that enhances the connected-ness of the DC Universe. Your Mileage May Vary. Aug 29, Joseph rated it really liked Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion Shelves: comics-graphic-novels. The Rogues have always been some of my favorite villains, and this tie-in Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion Forever Evil was pretty good. Captain Cold loses his powers and gets sidetracked with Lex Luthor, while the rest of the Rogues refuse to cooperate with the Crime Syndicate and get a price on their heads. After battling a slew of villains in Central Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion, Gotham, and elsewhere, will the Rogues survive long enough to rescue Lisa Snart Glider from her coma? This can be read separately from the main Forever Evil storyline. It's more of a side story, but very entertaining. View 2 comments. May 20, Cujo rated it liked it Shelves: books-i-owngraphic-novels. That being said I liked a lot more then I Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion to. May 16, Anna rated it liked it. More like 3. I would have rounded up instead of down, if they had actually explained what the hell happened to Captain Cold!!! About halfway through, after a major setback, he just disappeared. Not dead, just gone for no obvious readon. And he didn't even come back in at the end - but he was randomly on the last page. Other than that, I really enjoyed the story and the art, even if I did think Grodd just up and leaving midway through conquest was not very likely More like 3. I don't really care about the Rogues if there's no Flash. This and A. Sep 18, Brandon rated it liked it. Well, not all of them, since the Rogues won't play nice. They're always in for a quick buck Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion they're not going to murder people, especially with Golden Glider in a coma and Central City being targeted for destruction. They would teleport away with Mirror Master, but his powers are shorting out and he can't control where they go. So this mini is basically just the Rogues teleporting around the DCU's America and fight various supervillains. Their chemistry is great and Brian Buccellato, who was writing Flash at the time, understands where these New 52 versions of them have come from and what their arcs are about. Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion Vol 1 | DC Database | Fandom It was published on October Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion, After attending the meeting of the Secret SocietyCaptain Cold and the Rogues decided that they were not interested in ruling the world, as the Crime Syndicate seemed to be. Now, they have returned to Central City to find that it has been rendered a wasteland, and the Rogues are not Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion. They had only been gone a few hours, and in the interim, the city was destroyed, the sun was blocked out, and typically powerful villains like Girder were murdered by some stronger force. It doesn't take Len long to see that the cause of this carnage was Grodd. Creating an iceberg with a reflective surface so that they can travel to the hospital through the Mirror Worldthey are distracted from leaving when Heat Wave notices that several of Central City's finest have been chained to trees around the city. Approaching Captain FryeLeonard asks whether this was Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion Grodd's doing. Frye confirms it, coldly daring the Rogues to finish the job and kill them. Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion explains that Grodd and his gorillas must have got bored with killing everyone and left for Gorilla City. The gorillas had warned that more villains would be back to finish the job of destroying the city, and he assumes that means the Rogues. The fact that his team are perceived as killers angers Leonard, and he orders the Rogues to help him free all of the policemen. Though they are reluctant at first, Captain Cold is in charge, and they do as told. With Frye freed, Leonard Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion whether there is any news of the hospital's condition. Despite the Forever Evil: Rogues Rebellion, David Singh grabs a gun from the ground and attempts to arrest the Rogues, only to find himself ordered by Frye to drop his weapon, and threatened with death by Heat Wave. Reluctantly, Singh drops his weapon. With news that he hospital is, at least, still standing, the Rogues immobilize the rioters outside, and force their way into Lisa's room.
