    SPANISH CLINICAL LANGUAGE AND RESOURCE GUIDE The Spanish Clinical Language and Resource Guide has been created to enhance public access to information about mental health services and other human service resources available to Spanish-speaking residents of Hennepin County and the Twin Cities metro area. Acknowledgements February 2015 In 2012, Washburn Center for Children, Kente Circle, and Centro collaborated on a grant proposal to obtain funding from the Hennepin County Children’s Mental Health Collaborative to help the agencies improve cultural competence in services to various client populations, including Spanish-speaking families. These funds allowed Washburn Center’s existing Spanish-speaking Provider Group to build connections with over 60 bilingual, culturally responsive mental health providers from numerous Twin Cities mental health agencies and private practices. This expanded group, called the Hennepin County Spanish-speaking Provider Consortium, meets six times a year for population-specific trainings, clinical and language peer consultation, and resource sharing. Under the grant, Washburn Center’s Spanish-speaking Provider Group agreed to compile a clinical language guide, meant to capture and expand on our group’s “¿Cómo se dice…?” conversations.

    Security-related procedures and requirements are a fact of life for today's pilots, especially those who operate in the Washington, DC metropolitan area Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA) and the DC Flight Restricted Zone (FRZ). Although the rules may sound intimidating, they are not difficult. This course is intended to provide the information you need to fly safely, correctly, and confidently in this airspace. 1 This slide provides a summary of the changes made since the last version of this course. The only changes for this edition are new procedures for filing flight plans for the Flight Restricted Zone, or FRZ. As stated in the regulatory review section, 14 CFR 91.161 requires this training for pilots flying under visual flight rules (VFR) within a 60 nm radius of the Washington DC VOR/DME. This training is a one-time-only requirement, but it is a good idea to periodically review the material for updates and to refresh your knowledge. You should print the certificate of training completion. You do not have to carry it with you, but you must provide it within a reasonable period of time if requested. Now, let’s get started. 2 After the September 11 terrorist attacks, security authorities established the Washington DC Air Defense Identification Zone – the ADIZ – and the Flight Restricted Zone – the FRZ – to protect the nation’s capital. The ADIZ and the FRZ were established and operated via temporary flight restriction, or TFR, until the FAA developed a final rule that took effect on February 17, 2009. That rule codified the ADIZ and the FRZ in 14 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) part 93 as the DC Special Flight Rules Area (SFRA).

SAG-AFTRA to Honor Finest Performances of 2014 st ® at the 21 Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Simulcast Live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT) The 21st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards®, one of the awards season’s premier events, will honor outstanding performances from 2014 in five film categories and eight television categories, including the distinctive ensemble awards. The coveted Actor® statuettes will be handed out at the Los Angeles Shrine Exposition Center during a live simulcast on TNT and TBS Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015, at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). TNT will present a primetime encore of the ceremony immediately following the live telecast. The SAG Awards can also be viewed live on the TNT and TBS websites, and also the Watch TNT and Watch TBS apps for iOS or Android. (Viewers must sign in using their TV service provider user name and password). Of the top industry honors presented to performers, only the SAG Awards are conferred solely by actors’ peers in the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Recording Artists (SAG-AFTRA).
