    NATIONAL AFFAIRS ❖ The commerce ministry has laid out a detailed procedure for claiming benefits under the Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) scheme, which aims at boosting agricultural exports. ✓ The government announced this scheme for providing financial assistance for transport and marketing of agriculture products to boost exports of such commodities to certain countries in Europe and North America. ❖ The Ministry of Home Affairs has constituted Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Tribunal, to determine the sufficient cause to ban Jamaat-e-Islami, and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) faction. Venkaiah Naidu, inaugurated GRIDTECH-2019, 6th International Exhibition and Conference on 3rd April 2019. This international event has been organized by PowerGrid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID), with the support of Ministry of Power, Government of India and in association with Central Board Of Irrigation And Power (CBIP) and Indian Electrical and Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA) at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. ✓ This international event will showcase new technologies in the fields of Transmission, Distribution, Renewable Integration, Smart Grid, Communication etc.
