BASU has been carved out of Bihar Agricultural University through the BASU Act notified in the Gazette on 29th August, 2016. The university became operational in the Month of June 2017. In a short span of one year, the university has taken rapid strides in all directions. The academic standards have been reinforced while ensuring transparency in administration. Teaching infrastructure, laboratory & field facilities, and allied amenities for students and faculty are being upgraded. These measures have started revamping the image of BASU in the country as evident from increasing number of potential employers coming to our campuses for placement of our students.
