EMERGENCY SERVICES DISPATCHED TO RIVER RESCUE IN LIMERICK CITY

Joan O’Dea Absolutely heartbreaking that there’s no proper mental health service for anyone that needs it.....and the main topic of conversation in limerick this week is deciding if limerick needs a beach!!! Great to see the priorities being sorted

Jacinta Kelly The mental health issue is major in this city I recently attended hospital with somebody who was desperately looking for help and they had them waiting 8 hours...... they d i d n’t care if they left while left waiting. They seen a doctor and referred to the mental health clinic ..... they were basically handed a SHEET of NUMBERS (which no person in that state of mind is gonna actually sit down and ring!) and then when you get to as far as ringing the numbers EVERYWHERE has MONTHS of waiting lists to be seen. It baffles me why a proper system can’t be put in place. Major let down on our governments part ...... they know the numbers are soring Proud parents and friends taking pictures at the conferring ceremonies in University of Limerick this week PICTURES: SEAN CURTIN/TRUE MEDIA through the roof ..... they’re not oblivious to it. They make statistic reports every year for this reason ..... a waste of paper and money if u ask me.

Mary McNamara So sad the river is calling to many your people today, and jan o Sullivan wants a beach she should be looking after mental Over 3,000 graduate health issues, another family upset today and there will be more if the mental health issues are not dealt with. Hope the young girl is ok bless her. at UL ceremonies SLOT FOR LIMERICK ROSE ON STAGE

Name: Sarah McTernan O cc u p a t i o n : S i n ge r songwriter/wedding ceremony singer and just ventured into the world of modelling with my first fashion last week! From: I was born in Limerick where I lived the first few months of my life then we moved to Clare where I grew up. My parents live in Limerick. I have been living between Ennis and Limerick since I was 18 so I guess Clare but I feel very connected to Limerick.

have always had a love for music from a young age. It started with traditional fiddle when I was in school. Denise Glass is one of the best Iviolinists I have ever encountered so I learned so much from her. I was always too shy to sing in front of anyone! I used to sing in my bedroom for hours with a brush (mic) and dance around my room visualising what it would be like to perform or be a singer. In 2015 I asked one of my good friends Ronan Daly (from the band Switch) his advice on how to create a band and what to do! To which his response was an application for the Voice of I re l a n d . I filled it out almost immediately and sent it but d i d n’t say it to a soul - little did I know I’d reach the final. That was a big turning point for me. I gained a lot of experience and confidence from there and started to pursue music as a career. I had my beautiful daughter in 2016, so my entire focus was upon my daughter Mia. Mia is now 3 and I feel as s h e’s getting a little bit older and more independent it’s the right time to step back on the stage. The beginning of this year I said to myself - this is my year! I’m all about positive thoughts! A me it has to be wearable and much time before they get bored week later I received a call from comfortable for everyday and I of shopping.
