Agreement Downtown Dallas, Inc. (DDI) oversees the general management, operations and maintenance program for designated park sites, plazas, medians and Program Parks, within the Central Business District (CBD). • On December 3, 2009 – Downtown Dallas, Inc. was awarded a ten (10) year contract with the City of Dallas • The initial term was 12/3/2009 to 12/3/2019 (with no renewal period) • On December 3, 2019 – A 9-month extension was put in place while the City negotiated a new management, operation and maintenance agreement to include new deal points with DDI. LETTER FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR Dear Friends, Texans are fortunate to have a dynamic cultural history-the envy of anyone who doesn't call the Lone Star State home. At the Texas Historical Commission (THC), we're excited about preserving the places that embody this heritage. It's our job, but it's also our passion as proud Texans. For the last two years the THC has translated this passion into successful projects and initiatives that preserve our unique history while generating measurable economic impact on communities across Texas,. This report showcases the agency's activities during the past biennium and demonstrates that we truly embrace our responsibility of preserving the real places that tell the real stories of Texas. Our most exciting accomplishment was opening the state-of-the art San Felipe de Austin Museum near Sealy. Planned for decades, Texas' newest history museum tells the story of the founding of the Republic of Texas with highly interactive and dynamic exhibits. We also celebrated the rededication of the Karnes County Courthouse in Karnes City, where hundreds of local residents gathered to commemorate the impressively restored 1894 building. We were humbled to see so many people appreciating the hard work of local and state restoration efforts through our Texas Historic Courthouse Preservation Program. Our agency experienced challenges, as did much of the state. -

For Immediate Release Media Contact: Tanner Thurman MCA Public Relations 214-654-0402 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Cambria Dallas Downtown Names General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing DALLAS - Cambria Dallas Downtown announces it has appointed a General Manager and Director of Sales and Marketing. The hotel partially opened in late 2017, and will fully open in mid-February 2018. Bringing an upscale hotel experience to downtown Dallas, the Cambria Dallas is designed for the modern traveler with boutique accommodations and tech- minded amenities. Fillmore Hospitality, which manages the Cambria Dallas, selected Lacey Lamm as General Manager and Shelly Campbell as Director of Sales and Marketing. Lacey Lamm brings more than 20 years of hotel management experience to the Cambria Dallas. Most recently, Lacey was Vice President of Operations at The Packard Companies, a full-service management firm, where she oversaw more than 1,600 hotel rooms nationwide. Previously, Lacey served as Area General Manager at various properties under Concord Hospitality Enterprise. Prior to moving to Texas, she was the General Manager of the Hilton Southern Hills in Tulsa, OK. While there Lacey served the Oklahoma Hotel & Lodging Association and was the only woman in the associations history to be appointed Chairman. Shelly Campbell joins Cambria Dallas with vast hotel sales and marketing experience. Shelly’s hotel background includes Director of Sales and Marketing positions at Hilton Dallas/Park Cities, Hilton Waco and Marriott by Courtyard in Waco, Texas; and most recently, Cambria Southlake DFW North in Southlake, Texas also managed by Fillmore Hospitality. Cambria Dallas owner John Kirtland developed the hotel in the historic Tower Petroleum building, striking a perfect balance of art deco style and contemporary comfort. -
