Fans are requested to check the table below for the quickest route to FNB: Departure points How to travel Milpark, Auckland Park, Westbury Use T3 buses and transfer to T1 at Orlando Stadium to FNB and Noordgesig along Empire Stadium and Perth Roads Inner City and Ellis Park Use T1 and CI to FNB Stadium. Yeoville Use F11 buses to Library Gardens East and then go to Library Gardens West to use T1 to Soccer City Parktown Use F12 buses to Library Gardens East and then go to Library Gardens West to use T1 to Soccer City Soweto Use F1 from Naledi, F2 from Protea Glen, F3 from Jabavu, F4 from Mofolo/Boomtown, F9 from Mapetla and F10 from Pimville then transfer at the Rea Vaya station stations to T1 or C1 to FNB Stadium. Dobsonville (Indingilidzi) Use C1 to FNB stadium Eldorado Park Use F5 to Lakeview Station and then transfer to TI to FNB Stadium Florida North, Newlands Use C5, and transfer to T3 at Helen Joseph Station and then transfer to T1 at Orlando Stadium to FNB Stadium Cresta Use C4 and transfer to T3 at UJ Sophiatown and then transfer to T1 at Orlando Stadium to FNB Stadium. Lea Glen, Fleurhof, Amalgam, Use F6 or F7 and transfer at Industria West to T3 and then Bosmont, Riverlea transfer to T1 at Orlando Stadium to FNB Stadium Greymont Use F8 and connect T3 at Westbury station and then transfer to T1 at Orlando Stadium to FNB Stadium The Rea Vaya Station at FNB Stadium will be open from 10:00. The T1 and C1 service will run at a frequency of 15 minutes in the morning and the T1 service will step up the service to a 5 minutes frequency from 12:00 to 15:30. T3 will operate at 15 minutes frequency throughout the day. After the match, all services leaving from FNB Stadium will operate at 3 minutes frequency. The service will end at 19:00. All feeder buses will operate at 20 minute frequencies with the last bus leaving the starting point at 20h00. Soccer fans can either use their Smart cards or buy single or double trip cards obtainable from all Rea Vaya stations. Single trip cards cost R15.00 and double trip cards R30.00. Smartcard holders will pay fares based on distance travelled to the FNB stadium. Residents from most parts of Soweto will be paying on average R17 to get to and from the Stadium. The City of Joburg is proud to make public transport that is safe and affordable available to enable residents and supporters to attend the Soweto derby.
