She scored a goal on Saturday and had a hand in all three goals on Sunday, scoring one and assisting on the No. 5 Boston U. 2 at Providence 2 (OT) * other two. She finished the weekend +3 rating and nine shots at New Hampshire 1, Niagara 0 (OT) on goal against the Huskies. She recorded 18 stops in the opening frame vs. the Huskies and tallied 15 Sunday, October 31 saves in the third period to help the Catamounts earn a point in the WHEA No. 8 at Boston College 3, Connecticut 0 * standings. WHEA CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK UPCOMING GAMES Tuesday, November 2 #27 GENEVIEVE LACASSE, PROVIDENCE (Junior Goaltender; Scarborough, Ont.) Providence at Yale (7pm) Lacasse stopped 40 shots in Friday’s (10/29) 2-2 tie against No. 5 Boston University, including three in overtime. The goalie made several quality saves, including on a partial breakaway in Wednesday, November 3 the first period by Terrier Jenn Wakefield. She stopped 14 shots in the opening period and Boston College at Northeastern * (7pm) 13 in the third frame. WHEA CO-DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Saturday, November 6 Maine at Connecticut * (1pm) #36 LINDSEY MINTON, NEW HAMPSHIRE (Junior Goaltender; Richardson, Texas) Vermont at New Hampshire * (5pm) Minton stopped all 49 shots she faced in a two-game series against Niagara to backbone UNH Providence at Boston U. * (3pm) to 1-0 and 2-0 victories. She made a season-high 25 saves in the 1-0 overtime win. Minton Yale at Northeastern (2pm) kept Niagara off the scoresheet on all 11 power-play opportunities (16 shots). Factored in both game-winning goals to lift UNH to a weekend sweep of Niagara. Melissa Bizzari, BC (Fr, F, Stowe, Vt.) Scored the tying goal in Saturday’s game to force an overtime and give BC a chance at a come-from-behind win. Brittany Esposito, NU (So., F, Edmonton, Alta.)
