Tar Heel leaders Each fall the team votes on the year’s captains. Romea, Celina and Ciana are the oldest of eight Riccardo siblings. 2019-20 Honors and Awards • Erin Matson became the first sophomore ever to win the Mary Garber 2019-20 Mary Garber Award (ACC’s Female Athlete of the Year): Award as the 2019 ACC Female Athlete of the Year. Up to this point, all Erin Matson of the honors had been juniors or seniors.
