She has and continues to work with runners, dancers, gymnasts, synchronized swimmers and with athletes of every kind. Dominique has experience teaching massage therapy and its relevant subjects at the Wellington College. She believes "no pain no gain" is not a principal applicable to manual therapy, whether it be massage therapy or osteopathy and easily adapts her approach and style to each individual. Her massage techniques can be gentle and light as well as deep, firm and specific according to the preference and need of the person being treated. In osteopathy, it is truly the body's requirements which indicate the techniques to be used. There is a time and place for every technique from more soft tissue base release to the more firm osteoarticular impulse. All aimed at returning the individual's inherent capacity to adapt and function in a maximal state of homeostasis. Dominique considers the human body as a fascinating and beautiful machine regardless of its size, shape, ability and colour." Paul Kohlmeier, BPE, RMT, R.Ac.
