We've chosen wines that donate a portion of sales to a charity. Each glass of wine you and your guests consume goes to help a cause! Trinity Oaks Pinot Grigio – Environment: For every bottle sold they plant a tree One Hope Chardonnay – Breast Cancer: 50% of the profits from each bottle go towards the fight against breast cancer. For every eight cases sold they also donate one mammogram to women who could not otherwise afford one. One Hope Sauvignon Blanc – Environment: partnering with American Forests, every bottle sold plants a tree Soul Sister Pinot Noir – From Save Me, San Francisco Wine Co. Together with winemaker James Foster & the band Train they donate the proceeds from the sales to support the Family House, a non­profit that provides temporary housing to families of children receiving care at the University of California San Francisco Benioff Children’s Hospital Newman’s Own Merlot – 100% of all net royalties and profits from every bottle go to the Newman’s Own Foundation One Hope Cabernet Sauvignon – Autism: 50% of the profits from each bottle go towards providing behavioral therapy for children with Autism Our house beers are generally draft beers that you will choose, we'll probably help you choose one lighter and one darker. We'll generally have these Vermont beers in bottles: Long Trail Ale, Long Trail IPA, Long Trail Limbo, Magic Hat #9, Magic Hat Circus Boy, as well as Guinness, Bud, Bud Light, Corona, Amstel Light, and some others. You can certainly request your favorite beer as well. Lodging For guests the room rate is $145.00 (some exceptions) for all rooms at Mountain Meadows (and at the Greenbrier in most cases), plus tax. The price is based on double occupancy ­ no charge for kids 12 & under and includes an expanded continental breakfast. For "high­season" events, all rooms must be rented at Mountain Meadows (but not at the Greenbrier) for Friday & Saturday for this rate to apply. This rate is available for guests arriving earlier than Friday and staying Sunday and beyond. For most destination weddings, guests expect to pay for their own rooms. Lower rates are available for longer stays. Rental of Equipment Pass­through charges with a 6.5% mark­up apply for rental equipment that Mountain Meadows rents from various Vermont companies. Within the multitude of well-known savory foods available through the history of Malaysia, kuih has always bestowed a special part in the Malaysian diet. Kuih houses varying types of delicacies ranging from sweets to savory treats or snacks. As with its counterparts in the Malay cuisine, kuih has also been influenced by many historical events led by the migration of Chinese, Indians, and other explorers or visitors to Malaysia in the olden days. This casually developed the Malay kuih which now coined as the traditional Malay kuih; traditional as in the way that the classical values and authenticity were respected and established then. As time progresses and changes the lifestyle of Malays, newly innovated products are at the rise and emerged another type of kuih with somewhat similar characteristics to that of traditional Malay kuih, namely Nyonya Kuih. Nyonya kuih noted to be a reformulation of traditional Malay kuih with native Chinese expertise through some tweaks inculcating their palates and culinary library. Nyonya food presents the unique identity which combined culture and heritage, adapting ingredients and recipes. The purpose of this study is to find out awareness among Culinary Art students in the Management and Science University (MSU), Shah Alam about Baba Nyonya food, and to identify the uniqueness of Baba Nyonya’s food. In this study, resource based theory has been exploited for developing conceptual research framework. Data collected using self–administered questionnaire among 110 respondents involving students of Culinary Arts through convenience sampling method. The data analysis has been conducted using frequency, descriptive statistic as well as Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS16). Results clarified that the culinary art students are aware about the uniqueness of Baba Nyonya food and the average ratio of students who know is overwhelming. The study concluded that
