International Conf-IIFM.Pdf Sustainable development necessitates a holistic approach from the ecology, economic, socio-cultural and institutional framework. Measuring growth on the basis of profit and production is now a concept of past, the stakeholders are also concerned about the impact on the Planet and People while generating profit. World over countries are unanimous on this pressing issue and working to turnaround the damage already taken place, which if not checked now, will prove to be disastrous. The role and responsibilities of Government, Corporate (Public and Private), Academicians, R&D, Civil Society and individual citizens are vital to contribute towards holistic approach for sustainable development and ensuring that mother earth continues to bless the future generations with its natural and precious resources. Looking at the importance of the theme, an International Conference is scheduled at IIFM to bring together researchers, academicians, practitioners and policy makers to present their research findings, new concepts and cases on practices adopted to face this global challenge. For over 35 years it is dedicated to support specialized sectors like forestry management, environment, development by way of providing trained human resources and undertaking research and consultancy in this niche sector of Natural Resource Management. IIFM also focuses on the Sustainable Management Practices that should be adopted by public and private sector for achieving economic objectives in devising and implementing various functional strategies. In its endeavor to gain excellence to serve its stakeholders, it constantly strives to update and expand its focus to respond to the changing needs of all the concerned stakeholders. Situated on a hill and surrounded with water bodies on three sides, the Campus is one of the most beautiful educational campuses in the country designed by leading Architect. 1 Last date for Abstract submission - 2nd November 2018 2 Confirmation of Abstract acceptance - 20th November 2018 3 Full paper submission - 15th December 2018 Abstract (maximum 500 words) should be submitted in Times New Roman font size 12 for text with single line spacing without indentations in MS word / PDF Format at [email protected]. The title page should include title of the paper, broad theme under which you wish your abstract to be included, full name/s, affiliation, corresponding address, e-mail and phone number of the author/s. Abstracts of the empirical papers should cover Objectives, theoretical and conceptual framework, research methodology, main findings, and recommendations for policy or practice. The conceptual paper may mention briefly the purpose, the theme, the organizing construct, data sources used, conclusions and recommendations. Abstract for case or practice paper may include details of the new practice evolved and applied and how it improved/ solved the problem point. Note: All submissions will be reviewed by the experts from the area, selected abstract of registered authors will be published in compendium of conference proceeding. In addition, full papers will be sent for blind review for publication consideration in edited books with reputed publishers. A ‘Best Paper Award’ will be selected by the committee in each category of Research Scholars / Corporate / Faculty among the presented papers in the conference. Its importance has increased even more during the Covid-19 phase. Other departments should also assist in enabling Anganwadi centres. Officers and ministers should also assist in making necessary changes in the arrangements by inspecting the Anganwadi centers during the tour in the districts. Cent percent results can be obtained by preparing an action plan for nutrition campaign. Improvements must be made in the implementation of women and child development schemes at the grassroots level. Whatever shortcomings are noticed must be fulfilled. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan directed that to make various arrangements at Anganwadi centers, the Women and Child Development Department should increase coordination with various departments. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave these instructions while reviewing the operation of Anganwadis of the state through video conference from the hospital on Sunday.
