Taipei 101 - Taipei 101 is an engineering marvel and the first building of its kind in the world. Spanning 101 stories above the ground at 508 metres, the building was designed as a symbol of technology's evolution fused with Asian tradition. The building features many pan-Chinese and Asian elements mixed with a postmodern style, and is designed to withstand typhoons and earthquakes common in Taiwan.

LongShan Temple - The most well-known temple in Taiwan, the Mengjia Longshan Temple was built in 1738 by settlers from Fujian as a gathering place for Chinese settlers. Located in the old village part of Taipei, Wanhua District, this temple has stood the test of time and lasted through several natural disasters and wars. Since the construction of the temple, Taipei residents have continuously renovated and improved the temple and the surrounding grounds, with the temple coming to represent the pride of Taiwanese and worship houses, worshipping a mixture of Buddhist, Taoist, and deities like Mazu. Longshan Temple is one of largest and oldest temples in Taiwan. Entrance is free, but donations to maintain the upkeep of the temple are accepted.

National Palace Museum - The National Palace Museum houses the world's largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, one which spans China's nearly 5,000-year history. Most of the museum's over 600,000 art objects were part of the Chinese imperial collection, which began over 1,000 years ago in the early Song dynasty.

Sun Moon Lake - The Sun Moon Lake, located in the middle of Taiwan, with an elevation of 748 meters above sea level, is the only natural big lake in Taiwan. The southern part of Lalu Island is shaped like a new moon, and the northern part is shaped like a sun; hence the name Sun Moon Lake. The most famous sights around Sun Moon Lake are the

Itashao, Lalu Island, the Temple, the Ci-en Pagoda, and the Wenwu Temple8 and so on. The natural forests bordering these roads are good places for bird watching. There are a lot of birds that live on the mid-elevation, such as the Grey-cheeked Fulvetta, Grap-throated Minivet, Formosan Yuhina, Gray Tree Pie, Bamboo Partridge, Chinese Bulbul, Muller's Barbet, and the Black Bulbul.

Chih Kan Tower –Tainan Chikanlou(Chihkanlou)is built by the Dutch in 1652. It was originally called Provintia. In Dutch it means eternity. The Chinese called the building "Chikanlou(Chihkanlou)", "Fanzailou" or "Honmaolou". Although Chikanlou(Chihkanlou) has gone through Ming Dynasty, Qing Dynasty and the Japanese Colonization Period, it basically still maintains its original look. Cheng Cheng Kun Shrine - Cheng Cheng-Kung. After Ching dynasty control, the places are then called “Cheng’s family household”, or “Cheng’s Family original households”, and since it is situated on the north side of the Chun government, it is also called Bei-Yuan, and then called Bei-Yuan residence. Ching Kang-Xi times, Taiwan Xiamen official Chou Chang Fu made some additions to the place and the County official of Chu-Loh, Ji-chi-Kuang called it “Zhi-Tse” Yuan. Foguanshan Monastery –Located in Ta Shu of Kaohsiung City, Fo Guan Shan Monastery is the biggest Buddhist monastery in Taiwan, with the name literally means “Buddha’s Light Mountain”. Fo Guang Shan Monastery is founded in 1967 by Venerable Master in promoting Humanistic , covering an area more than 30 hectares comprised of university buildings, shrines, and a cemetery in the first place. Later in 1975 and 1981, a 36-meter tall state of Amitabha Buddha and the Great Hero Hall were established.
