Insurance, Diesel, Road Tax, Equipment

Equipment damage protection waiver via DSV is mandatory:

Coverage: All DSV standard dry cargo trailers / EU-member states, Norway and Switzerland

Own liability per damage: Tires EUR 0 / Damage EUR 1500 / Theft or total loss EUR 3500

Price: EUR 100 per truck per month Combined CMR and cabotage insurance via DSV is mandatory:

Coverage: up to EUR 600000 per event (incl. German Haulage Act) / All Europe, Cyprus and countries bordering the Mediterranean

Own liability: EUR 1500 per damage, in case of gross negligence 25% of the indemnity, but max EUR 25000

Price: EUR 90 per truck per month

Fuel / Diesel card: After a month work, DSV Road can provide you with a Fuel/Diesel card. And we can also help you with VAT refund for the diesel. Monthly fee of EUR 20 per active card to cover administration costs as well as guarantees against the provider of fuel cards.

Road tax cards: DSV Road can also help with cards for road tax in whole Europe

Equipment: All trucks need navigation systems. An international repair service for the truck. The HAULIER shall ensure that vehicles have all generally required safety equipment, such as safety shoes, helmets, vests and the required lashing equipment, including as a minimum 20 clamps with a load capacity of STF500 and with long lever – ratchets and at least 10 meters long straps, 40 edge/corner protectors and 66 anti slip mats. Furthermore, the HAULIER shall provide tape measure, 2 aluminium security bars, 1 padlock, 1 TIR cable, 1 sidewind crank handle, tilt tape – and for temperature-controlled transports also 1 thermometer and 2 support bars.
