School of Engineering had called applications for the PhD program in Materials. The minimum qualifications for applying to PhD Materialsprograms in School of Engineering at IIT Mandi were advertised in the institute website.

The following candidates are shortlisted for theonlineinterview/written test or both. The shortlisting criteria for each specialization were given before the shortlist. Shortlisted candidates are requested to appear for the interview/written test or both as per the schedule given below:

1. M.Sc. in Physics, Materials, Nanomaterials, Chemistry, Polymer Science ,Metallurgy Or Electronic or related areas + valid NET OR GATE Score Or M.Techin Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Electronic, Material Science,Nanomaterials, Polymer Engineering, Nanotechnology, Metallurgy Engineering or related area+ valid NET OR GATE Score in related areas. 2. PG M.Sc./M.Techwith 70% aggregates or 7.5CGPA for General/EWS/ OBC candidates. Or M.Sc. /M. Tech with 65% aggregates or 7.0C GPA for SC/ST candidates. 3. UG B.Sc./B.Techwith 65% aggregates or 7.0 CGPA for forGeneral/EWS/ OBC candidates. Or UG with 60 % aggregates or 6.5CGPA for SC/ST candidates.
