He went straight from his studies (BA in Politics & Sociology) into a rock musical called MANCHILD. He toured Australia for the next couple of years recording an album of the musical and doing TV appearances. Stephen then went to London where he studied singing and appeared in fringe productions there. On his return to Australia in 1976 he began a long career in Film & TV. He also completed a Masters degree in Australian Studies (UNSW ‘92.) He gained a TESOL (CELTA) qualification in Dec, 2003 and teaches ‘English as a Second Language’ to International students.
