CURRENT OPERATING PROCEDURES FOR BUNNINGS B.B.Q’S *Need to present a CURRENT PUBLIC LIABILITY CERTIFICATE. Our current Certificate expires in September *GAS BOTTLES can only be changed by your allocated Bunnings Team Member. Please note that if and when we run out of gas, turn the BBQ off and notify our Bunnings Team Member immediately. *Bunnings will supply 2 Gazebos, 1 large table, 1 small table, BBQ & Gas & 1.7 litre Esky. *No person under the age of 16 is permitted to operate equipment. It is recommended that 4 to 5 people are needed as the area is quite small. 4 preferably. *No glass. *GLOVES to be worn at all times. Long hair tied back. *Cold foods to be kept below 5 degrees and hot food above 60 degrees. * Will need extra Eskys for extra drinks and sausages. *Tables and preparation area must be kept clean and sanitized at all times and regularly wiped down. *No raw product should be kept uncovered or out of esky prior to cooking. *Money should not be handled by people cooking or serving food. Money handler can also sell drinks. *FOOD- Only sausages (not frozen), onions, bread (no bread rolls) and condiments are to be sold. Drinks can also be sold. No chips, lollies, dairy to be sold. No selling bacon, kabana or eggs. Bread to be kept on table NOT on the ground. Spray olive oil only to be used. *No thongs, crocs or open toed shoes. *No smoking. *Sausage Sizzle to be sold for $2.50 Soft Drinks $1.50 Water $1.00 Poppers $1.00 *Bunnings signage to be used. Blackboard and chalk supplied where we can write our name. No tape etc .to be used on Gazebo. *Community Groups to report to the Activities Organiser on arrival and departure. Any incidents must be reported to the manager on duty. *Do not park in the disabled car parks to unload *All rubbish to be taken with us. Area left clean and clear of cooking debris. *Community groups to notify Bunnings of total funds raised on the day. Form to be filled out and delivered to Bunnings after count. Maybe next day. *As a good will gesture it has been suggested we sell Sausage and drink at $1.00 each to staff of Bunnings. *No power leads to be run. *Cannot enter the store before opening at 7.30. Bunnings will set us up and we can start cooking when ready. Suggested finish cooking 3pm, start cleaning 3.15 and finished by 4.00. SUGGESTED SHIFTS WILL BE 8AM TO MIDDAY AND MIDDAY TO 4PM. *There is 2 oil drip containers on the BBQ. Suggested we put bread bags in each one with a slice of bread in bottom to soak up any fat, then container is clean and bag easy to throw away. (What a great idea) BUNNINGS WILL SUPPLY 2 TABLES, 1 LARGE AND 1 SMALL. BBQ & GAS, GAZEBO, CLEANING EQUIPMENT, SIGNAGE THE CLUB SUPPLIES BEEF SAUSAGES ONLY (12 per 1 kg. Saturday & Sunday sell 45 to 50 Kg) ONIONS (Already cut from G.M. & N. Rocklea. Ph 32782240) BREAD (No Rolls) 18 Slices per loaf. SAUCE (Only tomato, BBQ & American Mustard) DRINKS (COCA COLA, DIET COKE, LEMON SQUASH, ORANGE, WATER, 1 DOZEN POPPA’S) ESKYS FOR SAUSAGES AND EXTRA DRINKS. ALFOIL, ALFOIL TRAYS GLOVES, COOKING UTENSILS, BINS & LINERS, CHUX, APRONS OLIVE OIL SPRAY, STEELWOOL, CASH TIN & FLOAT, PAPER TOWELS May be given permission to sell raffle tickets or sell cakes in another area. FRIDAY BBQ are a little unknown. I am buying 20 kilos of sausages and bread to match (approx.14 loaves) The Club will provide a First Aid box. Updated 3rd May 2014 .
