Pray, too, for a young man from the parish who is entering a religious community in August. Pray for vocations! God Bless! Catholic Ministries Appeal I thank all who made a gift or pledge to the 2014 Catholic Ministries Appeal. As of July 1st, 463 parishioners have pledged $240,633.00 to the Appeal. Msgr. John J. McCann Th e funds raised in the Catholic Ministries Appeal make possible some of the many good things that happen in the name of Christ throughout the Diocese of Rockville Centre and through the parish sharing aspect of the Appeal here in St. Mary’s, too. I ask those who have not yet made a gift to the 2014 Appeal to consider doing so even if you have never made a gift before. Whatever you are able to do will be deeply appreciated. Seminarian Jiha Lim Eucharistic Adoration Th is is the last week of Jiha’s ten week stay in St. Mary’s. Th is Th ursday Next Sunday he will begin a few weeks of vacation before returning to St. Joseph’s Seminary (Dunwoodie) in 3:00 to 8:00 PM Yonkers to begin his third year of theological studies. If in the Chapel off the south side of the Church all goes well, he will be ordained a priest for the Diocese of Rockville Centre in June, 2016. Come spend some time in prayer! We have told him not to expect that to continue after he is ordained.
