From the Pastor – Rev. Mark A. Reece, Jr. May’s Guide to Church on the Mountain I was in a meeting with Dr. Jack Causey some time ago and he PRAYER LIST Worship and Study Stone Mountain State Park said, “There seems to be a lot of energy around this subject.” Due to the Sunday, June 3, 2018 energy produced by that subject, we budgeted significant time to spend Sunday, June 3 Nursing home and Hemlock Shelter on that particular subject. It’s a gift when we discover where the energy long-term care Luke 5:27-39 is. It’s a mistake if we don’t follow that energy to see where it’s leading. The majority would Worship Seeds consider themselves “spiritual but not religious” or “believing but not belonging” and a Lonzo McHone Charles Brintle TBA minority would consider themselves atheist or agnostic. Many millennials, those born Banner Combs roughly between 1980 and 2000, fit into this category. “Dones” are those who have, for Josie Woodruff Sunday, June 17 whatever reason, left the faith group that they previously identified with. The Grove’s Helping Hand”

“The Grove’s Helping Hand” is a ministry that gives a helping hand to struggling families who run out of groceries before their paycheck arrives. It’s also a ministry to those who have been in the hospital and just don’t have the strength to tackle the grocery store yet. Perhaps we could give a helping hand to some elderly person who can’t get out at all. The food closet is located in the rear of the chapel. A wagon for donations is located in the narthex and it includes a list of needed items.
