This is her first performance with RCP and hopefully not her last. She has done many productions, Hairspray and all her shows at Kettle Run High School being among her favorites. When she’s not on stage, Sierra enjoys sleeping on the floor in the middle of the day and/or eating. She’d like to thank the directors for giving her this opportunity, her castmates for being phenomenal to work with, and her family for putting up with her for all these years. Richard Bird (Wilbur Turnblad) has been busy with shows for RCP over the last 8 or 9 years because this is a great group of people. Richard has done a lot of set building and sound for shows, most recently for Aida, but it’s been too long since he’s been on stage. Previous shows include, Trip to Bountiful, August: Osage County, and 33 Variations. All great shows, but it will be nice to be in a show where nobody dies. Rich is very excited to be part of the cast for Hairspray! This will be his first musical for RCP, in fact, it will be the first time he’s been in the cast of a musical ever. He’s excited, nervous, and happy about all the positive energy this show and this cast bring to the stage. Kurtis Carter (Fender) is thrilled to be in his first production with RCP.
