Need another excuse to treat yourself to a new book this week? But I have to say I was surprised with this title at how much I enjoyed it. On July 21, it was announced that actor Ray Stevenson would play the Punisher in the sequel to the film. The one big one they kept, was the set piece where we see how Russo becomes Jigsaw. The rules of reality change in this book, and I just don't like the changes. Con semejante escena inicial, la cosa no puede dejar de mejorar. As far as I am concerned, Garth Ennis created the Punisher. Start here and ease into his more serious Punisher Max series. Making Frank a bit more human is odd in the face of the slapstick, but in the end it's a good move. Ennis's brilliant early take on the character of Frank Castle. San Francisco Chronicle. The results indicate that while these superheroines are multi- dimensional characters, they are still created within a male standard of what constitutes a hero. With great power comes great responsibility. Uncle Ben walks into the beyond. SPIDER-MAN (V.O.) I saved a bunch of people, fell in love, saved the city, and then I saved the city again and again and again... Spiderman saves the city, kisses MJ, saves the city some more. The shots evoke ICONIC SPIDER-MAN IMAGES, but each one is subtly different, somehow altered. SPIDER-MAN (V.O.) And uh... I did this.
