Nitro Knowledge. Your Guide to Paying for College.
October 1st is the first day the new FAFSA for the 2021-2022 school year is officially open!
One of the biggest mistakes students can make when paying for college is not filling out the FAFSA, and it’s important to fill it out early because a lot of financial aid is on a first-come-first- served basis.
Every year Nitro puts together this guide, which breaks down each question, specifically to help students fill out that year’s FAFSA. Our interactive online FAFSA guide for the 2021-2022 school year may be helpful as well. You can also check out some of our FAFSA articles such as frequently asked questions, how to renew your FAFSA, and more.
Remember, you can always talk to your guidance counselor or contact the FAFSA helpline 1- 800-4-FED-AID (1-800-433-3243). The TDD number for hearing-impaired individuals is 1-800- 730-8913.
