Representatives from regional athletic conferences will be competing for top honours * at the Canadian University Gymnastic Championships to be held at York next Friday and Saturday, March 5 and 6. The York team has captured four of the six places on the championship team from its own conference in the Women's division and all six of the Men's. There will be three performances--all open to the public--at 1:30 and 7:00 p.m. Friday, with the finals on Saturday beginning at 2:00 p.m. Admission is $2.00 per performance for adults and $1.00 for students, or $4.00 and $2.00 for all three performances. Advance tickets'may be purchased at the control room in the Tait McKenzie Building. Revenues are used to recover part of the cost of staging the championship • .. Countless .numbers of York students are seeking part time and summer employment on the University campus. Faculty and staff members requiring part time and/or summer help in their departments should call Student Placement at 635-3761/2.

The money students earn through part time work helps to defray the costs of their i.!achication. Please help them to help themselves.

There will be a number of apartments available for sub-lease in the Graduate Resi­ ,dences beginning May 1 through to August 31, 1971. Accommodation includes bachelor, one, two-bedroom, and penthouse suites. These apartments are furnished and are located on. campus near Osgoode Hall. Any interested parties are requested to pick up an application form from the office of the Residence Co-ordinator, Room 104B, Temporary Office Building. Once an application has been approved, it will be referred to the permanent tenant who is desirous of sub-leasing his apartment.

York's gymnastic teams captured to,p honours at the Canadian National Intercollegiate * Gymnastic Championships held Friday and Saturday in the Tait McKenzie Building. e·' In the women's division, the~ork competitors, lead by 19-year-old Susan Buchanan , who had three firsts and a third to place first all-round, spurred their OQWCIA , conference team to a first place finish with 15.2.05 points, ahead of the WCIAA with 143.65.

In the men's division, where competition was by university, York took first place , with 220.00 points, more than 18 ahead of second place McMaster with 191.35. The York ,men were lead by Tom Kinsman who placed second all-round, with Dave Hunter taking a second in the side-horse vault and Bill Petrachenko a third on the high" bar. The Commission is arranging a series of public hearings in various centres throughout Ontario. Hearings are scheduled to take place in Toronto on two dates:

* Bernard Gunther, pioneer in the use of touch, relaxation, body awareness, and non-verbal communication, and author of the best-selling book, Sense Relaxation, will give a talk on "Energies Us", sponsored by the EGO Programme, Centre for Continuing Education, which will be held at 8:30 p.m. on March 26 at the O.I.S.E. Auditorium, 252 Bloor Street West. Mr. Gunther will demonstrate some of the newest techniques in sensory awareness and show a 25-minute colour film (words and music by Rod McKuen) dealing with a group at Esalen Institute where Mr. Gunther is a staff member.
