Welcome,

On behalf of all of our athletic teams I want to welcome you to Seton Hill University and the greater Greensburg area. Seton Hill University has recently completed major renovation and construction projects to provide our student athletes and our guests with some of the finest facilities in the area. It is our hope that, whichever venue you are playing, that all of your expectations will be met.

Included in this guide are area hotels and restaurants to help you with your plans while visiting. While the university does not endorse any of the following, we want to do our part in helping our local businesses. If you have any specific needs that are not covered here, please do not hesitate to contact the athletic department directly.

All of us recognize the importance of intercollegiate athletics as it relates to higher education. DIRECTIONS

From the West: Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 76) east to new Exit 67/ old Exit 7 (Irwin). Follow Rt. 30 east approximately 8 miles. Take the Street Exit into the city of Greensburg. At the fifth traffic light, turn left onto Bell Way. Go one block to the next traffic light and continue straight onto College Avenue through the tunnel. The University's entrance is on the left

OR

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 76) west to new Exit 75/ old Exit 8 (New Stanton). Then, follow Rt. 119 north to the Rt. 66 north exit. (Toll is $1). Travel north and take Exit 5 (Greensburg/Jeannette, Rt. 130). At the end of the exit, make a right onto Rt. 130 east. After approximately 2 miles, the University's entrance is on the right.

OR

Take the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Rt. 76) west to new Exit 75/ old Exit 8 (New Stanton). Then, follow Rt. 119 north (approximately 8 miles). Upon entering downtown Greensburg, Rt. 119 becomes Main Street. Continue on Main Street and turn left onto Otterman Street (at the Courthouse Square). At the second traffic light, turn right onto College Avenue. The University's entrance is on the left

From the Northeast: Take Rt. 22 west to Rt. 66 south (Toll is 50¢). Take Exit 5 (Greensburg/Jeannette, Rt. 130). At end of exit, make a left onto Rt. 130 east. After approximately 2 miles, the University's entrance is on the right.

DIRECTIONS TO OFFUTT FIELD (Football and Lacrosse) Get off the Turnpike at the New Stanton exit. After exiting the turnpike, follow Route 119 North for approximately 7 miles to downtown Greensburg. Route 119 N becomes Main Street in the city of Greensburg. Follow main street to the Westmoreland County Courthouse and make a right onto Pittsburgh Street. Go one block and make a right onto Maple Ave. Travel to the first stop sign/blinking light and take a left onto Laird Street. Go over the hill about 1/4 mile and the stadium will be on your left. There is only preferred parking inside of the stadium. All others must find a parking space in the streets and parking lots around the stadium.

Use of the Field House and McKenna Center Training Rooms

We welcome you to Seton Hill University. If treatments are required prior to the contest, they will be administered in the Field House and/or McKenna Center training rooms. Available equipment includes: moist heat, electrical stimulation and ultrasound. The following emergency equipment will be available if needed: spine board, vacuum splints, SAM splints, crutches, infectious waste disposal and first aid supplies.

Please note that we ask either a letter or a phone call regarding any treatments (besides an ice bag) if an A.T.C. is not traveling with a team. Also, if one of your teams is traveling without an A.T.C. or a student athletic trainer, please let us know so that we can make appropriate arrangements. If you have athletes needing to be taped, please provide a stocked kit with the supplies necessary for each of them.

The athletic department here at Seton Hill University encourage your high collision sports be accompanied by an A.T.C.

Supplies furnished during the contest include: a 10 gallon cooler of water, 1 ice chest, and infectious waste disposal. If any extra necessities are required by your staff, please contact us so that accommodations may be made in advance.
