No. 7. THE DEFENCE REGULATIONS, 1940 TO (No. 4) 1945.

ORDER MADE BY,THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY UNDER REGULATION 61. In exercise of the powers vested in me by virtue of my appointment by the Governor as the Competent Authority for the purposes of regu• lation 61 of the Defence Regulations, 1940 to (No. 4) 1945,1 hereby order as follows :— 1. This Order may be cited as the Defence (Licensing of Certain Goods) Continuance of Licences Order, 1946, and shall be read in Gazette: Supplement conjunction with the Defence (Licensing of Certain Goods) Order, 1943 No. 3: (hereinafter in this Order referred to as " the principal Order "). 19.8.1943 2. Notwithstanding anything contained in the principal Order every licence issued or renewed under such Order during the year 1945, shall, unless cancelled in the meantime under the provisions of clause 5 thereof, continue to be valid and effective without renewal until the 1st day of March, 1946, subject to the same terms, limitations or conditions as there may be contained in such licence. 3. This Order shall be deemed to have been made on, and to have taken effect as from, the 1st day of January, 1946. T. S. BELL, Controller of Supplies, Competent Atithority.

No. 8. THE DEFENCE (HEATERS CONTROL) ORDERS, 1944 to (No. 2) 1945. NOTIFICATION UNDER CLAUSE 3 (1). In exercise of the powers vested in me under clause 3 (1) of the D;fence (Heaters Control) Orders, 1944 to (No. 2) 1945, I hereby declare the 4th February, 1946, to be the date from and after which no person shall erect, use or work whithin the areas of Katydhata, Linou, Phlasou, Evrykhou, Galata, Nikos, Yerakies, Kalokhorio (), , Tembria and , any wood burning heater of the following type without a licence from me, that is to say: 1. Bakers type ovens. M. TlNGHERIDES, Fuel and Charcoal Controller.
