Type of Recruitment Initiative Brief Description of Activity Our SEU offers internship opportunities 1. Internship Program to local college and high school students in its programming and promotions departments. The internships are typically scheduled on a semester basis. Our Promotions Director coordinates our internship program and supervises the progress of the student interns.

During this reporting period, (4) four interns participated in this Program. These interns assist the Promotions and Programming Departments with a variety of tasks including public relations, non-traditional revenue events and on-site station broadcasts and database marketing.

The SEU’s Promotions Director and Promotions Assistant attended this event and met with attendees to talk about careers in broadcasting as well as employment opportunities and internships within the SEU.
