RECRUITMENT INITIATIVES TYPE OF RECRUITMENT BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITY INITIATIVE (MENU 1 ParticipSEate inLEC JobT FairION ) On March 4, 2020, our SEU participated in the SUNY New Paltz Career Fair at SUNY New Paltz in New Paltz, NY from 11 AM – 3 PM. The SEU’s Promotions team attended and met with attendees to discuss careers in broadcasting as well as internships and job opportunities within the SEU. 2 Participate in Job Fair On March 6, 2020, our SEU participated in the Marist College Career Fair at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, NY from 3 PM – 6 PM. The SEU’s Promotions Team attended and met with attendees to discuss careers in broadcasting as well as internships and job opportunities within the SEU. 3 Internship Program Openings for internships with the Townsquare Media-Poughkeepsie SEU are advertised over the air on all SEU stations as well as on numerous college websites and job boards. The SEU’s Promotions Department and Promotions Assistant are in contact with internship representatives from Marist College, SUNY Dutchess and SUNY New Paltz on a regular basis and work hard to develop these relationships for the benefit of the students as well as the SEU’s internship program. During the period of (2/1/20 – 5/8/20) this SEU hosted 19 interns from SUNY Dutchess, Marist College and SUNY New Paltz. All interns are required to work 12 hours per week. The interns work in the SEU’s Promotions and Programming Department under the supervision of the SEU’s Promotions Director and Promotions Assistant. Typical duties include conducting research for stories, assisting with script writing, collecting marketing data, participating in remote promotions/events and interviewing various managers within the SEU to learn more about their specific jobs. 4 EEO Training for Management On January 13, 2021, our SEU participated in training on FCC EEO obligations conducted by Human Resources. .
