Join us July 23 – 26 for the 17th annual Ossipee Valley Music Festival in South Hiram, Maine! Just 45 minutes west of Portland, you’ll find Maine’s premier roots music festival nestled beneath the tall pines of the spacious and pristine Ossipee Valley Fairgrounds. This family- friendly festival presents a diverse line-up of international legends, young up-and-comers, and the cream of the Maine acoustic music scene. This year’s headliners include The Travelin’ McCourys, Albert Lee & Cindy Cashdollar, Elephant Revival, Claire Lynch, and Doyle Lawson.

Ossipee has been attracting international performers to Maine since 1999. This year's headliners once again offer the festival's signature mix of straight-up bluegrass, blues and New Orleans soul, cross-over Americana performers, folk, acoustic, and sweet country twang.
Grammy-winning Albert Lee is widely regarded as one of the world's best country guitar pickers. He was an anchor of Emmylou Harris's Hot Band and has recorded with Eric Clapton, Ricky Skaggs, and Brad Paisley among others. He will be performing with Austin Dobro and steel guitar master Cindy Cashdollar.
The Travelin' McCourys, are highly regarded as a cornerstone of the contemporary bluegrass scene. The sons of bluegrass legend Del McCoury, Ronnie and Rob McCoury continue their father’s work—a lifelong dedication to blending the power of traditional and progressive bluegrass music together for a thoroughly 21st century display of virtuosity and soul.
Colorado-based Elephant Revival plays an acoustic blend of Americana, gypsy jazz, Celtic, and folk. One critic praises the “sublime aural tapestry” they weave with their music. The five- person band plays everything from washboard, saw, fiddle, banjo, djembe, cello, the occasional horn, and more!
Bluegrass Hall of Famer Doyle Lawson is one of the bluegrass scene's preeminent mandolin players with countless awards, honors and multiple Grammy nominations. In addition, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver are perennial winners and nominees for Best Vocal Group accolades from just about every roots music organization in the business.
Claire Lynch is known as a creative force in the acoustic music who continually pushes the boundaries of the bluegrass genre. None other than Dolly Parton has credited Claire with "the sweetest, purest, and best lead voices in the music business today."
Davina & the Vagabonds play a powerhouse blend of smoldering blues, New Orleans soul, and show-stopping jazz influences. So much more than just a blues act, DATV’s shows roam from Memphis soul swagger to dark theatrical moments that evoke Kurt Weill, and tender gospel passages. Davina’s voice and stage presence defy category in a different way. She has been compared to Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday, and Betty Boop. But comparisons don’t suffice - Sowers is a true original.
